Riverwood Medlab Pathology Drive-through Clinic

I was tested around 8:05 in the morning and got my results less than 24 hours later. The four women working here at that time were both efficient and friendly. Didn't have long to wait either as I was seen to within five minutes once they started working (though it does help if one turns up around half an hour before opening). No GP referral was needed, nor was I asked for a pen. The woman who did my test did so with efficient swiftness and didn't cause any more discomfort than necessary. All in all, the setup and staff were very well organised.

I have tested there twice & the lines were very long. The first time we tested a car pushed in at the cross street. Everyone was angry. There was a lot of honking & others in the line approached the car that pushed in. An elderly couple occupied the car in question. They wound their windows up & ignored everyone. So I went & reported their conduct to the people running the clinic. The young Covid clinic attendant said he wouldn’t serve them & he was true to his word up to a point. The elderly couple got to the front & refused to budge. They blocked all the cars in the line behind them & made the people running the clinic walk down to service the cars behind them. Then they started abusing the staff for not serving them & told them they would make sure they lost their jobs. In the end they were served before our car. The young man was visibly shaken by the thought of losing his job. I had to call his employer & the police to assist the staff. The elderly couple had already complained to the employer but I said they see to blame - not their employee. Of course the Police didn’t care but I hoped I saved his job because he did the right thing. Appalling conduct was displayed by this elderly couple during a very stressful time in a pandemic. Don’t push in!

I do not recommend going to this drive through. I have been waiting over 48 hours for my results, and when i called up the clinic to receive an update it said that negative results are released 72 hours later which is extremely inconsiderate since I had to skip several days of work until I was all clear. I understand positive results are urgent matters, however, people who are negative have livelihoods to attend to which have been on hold until they are all clear. Not impressed at all. All other laboratories issue within 12-24 hours. Do not recommend

I have had to have tests twice in the last few weeks due to a hospital admission. Both times there was virtually no queue and had results within 12 hours. A tip for new customers as you approach look on the witches hat for a QR code (use your phone camera not NSW app). Complete your registration while waiting. Any subsequent visits the code will pick up your details once you scan and record your name.

I've had about 3 tests over the last year at this clinic, two at just before 8pm (before closing) and yesterday at 8.40am. It's been super quick each time, pretty much no lines, less than 10 minutes, and the staff are always lovely. Test results have arrived within 24 hours, and yesterday's came in just after 11 hours.

I took my dad to get tested which he needed to do for his specialist appt. We turned up around 8:30am and we were in & out in under 10mins. No complaints from my Dad, pretty gentle when swabbing. Best of all dad received his negative result on the same day, well within the required 72 hrs. Great service!

Staff hid inside the shed on their phone and pretend to not be there

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!Arrived at 4.30pm , with three cars ahead of me. Waited 15 mins until realising there was no one working.Got out of the car and went to the shed to see what was happening. The only staff member was sitting at the door on her phone said “I’m on a break until 5pm”?!?If you had half a brain wouldn’t you just serve the four cars who had been waiting and THEN have your break when no one was waiting?????????Unbelievable.

Went there twice. The nurse there sis the swab was very nice and gentle. She said she would fast track for me as I am a medical staff. However, I waited for the whole day, called them and they said the test is completed but I have not received any text message. I did Covid and respiratory panel. Then they only texted me the Covid result and not the other respiratory result saying it’s their policy of privacy, and I need to book my dr to get the result. It’s so ridiculous. All I want is my respiratory panel result because my Rat test was negative. Will never go back again

I really want to know how they make sure who is the result belongs to. Been there around 4:30pm today. Me and mum get tested together today. Before and after the test, they didn’t put your name on the tube, didn’t check my name and DOB again with me like other testing places. So worried about how they could match my name with my result.
