Very nice place externally. We could not enter as it will not open until next month but it looks great. Must visit when it opens for 2020.

Our own local art gallery, in the original TTG council chambers (and jail cell). Worth a look. The Exhibitions change every couple of months.

Gallery 1855 is an excellent contemporary art gallery managed by the City of Tea Tree Gully. The gallery is in a renovated heritage building nestled into bushland. The venue has wheelchair access, an interesting, nooky layout and presents a diverse range of work year-round through rolling group and solo exhibitions.

Such a beautiful and interesting community art space .given the history of this building what a great transformation. Love that there is such a great mix of work from professionals to local emerging artists in the community. Every exhibition is displayed so well . Have attended some of the talks and they have been informative and relaxed the staff are very friendly. Great they have smaller items jewlery etc for sale as well.
