Bought a PC with a decent spec but didn't work. Reseat RAM still didn't work - DOA. Replacement machine arrives same problem - DOA. Return both, which was easy. Trying to get money back - no response. A month after 2nd machine confirmed as returned by tracking number, had to get money back through PayPal.

Guys know their stuff. Wak in and they can explain differences between machines. Good value second hand stuff. I was only after cheap and cheerful and have had good experiences with this place this is third computer I have purchased from them over last 10 years or so.Parking beside shop makes it easy.

Very disappointing experience … I received a motherboard that didn’t match the monitors. I had warranty so submitted a dispute and called support centre many times and now it had been a month with no resolution … no response to the dispute … I was e-mailed that a refund will be organised and return label sent and nothing happened …Will definitely make a complaint in the ACCC

I recently bought a Refurbished laptop from ACT, this is the second time I purchased from this company, my first laptop was some 7 years ago and have had no problems since then till now that I needed to replace it, I have been extremely happy and that is why I decided to purchase from them again, hopefully this laptop will last me as well as the previous one...great quality & customer service, I would highly recommend any one to buy shop at Australian Computer Traders.

Their website claims that it's possible to pick up orders from Murrarie, which would be lovely if the page to purchase the item from also agreed with that statement.Calling to check what was going on, I was met with a variously angry and dismissive person who didn't want to know what was going on and didn't really care. I now have absolutely no idea when my order will be ready or where it will be. And neither, it seems, do they.

Purchased a laptop, They sent tracking details a week after. I then waited 2-3 weeks and still not delivered or tracking info uploaded...I contacted them and they said they have not posted as they are waiting on a 1tb hdd. Very disappointing. Communication is very important.

Needs a bit of visual management.Overall not too bad of a place if you're looking for a computer that doesn't need to be a gaming pc (they do sell customized gaming pcs as well).

I've just brought my 2nd Dell smallform from ACT. I'm really happy with the computers, service and delivery.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent laptop purchase from Australian Computer Traders through eBay.Initially, I was enticed by the promise of a high-quality refurbished product, as highlighted in their advertisements and detailed descriptions of their meticulous refurbishment process. This led me to make the decision to proceed with the purchase.However, upon receiving the laptop, I was immediately dismayed by its condition, which fell far short of professional standards.To begin with, the keyboard was noticeably bent and detached right out of the box. Furthermore, the laptop itself was dirty, and I discovered several loose screws.To further aggravate the situation, the Lenovo Vantage Hardware check confirmed a faulty SSD.The overall state of the laptop was so subpar that I cannot fathom how anyone could consider it a product of high-grade professional refurbishment. It is disheartening to think that an item was sent out to a customer in such a poor state.In hindsight, I deeply regret not conducting thorough research on the company and reading the negative reviews prior to making this purchase.I genuinely hope that this review will be of assistance to others, providing them with valuable insights into the quality they can anticipate before making a purchase from this company.

My experience with Australian Computer Traders has been terrific from start to finish I have used the website, advertising and over the phone customer service during me replacing my computer system to facilitate my return to work after illness. This was quite stressful for me and ACT facilitated this process for me so that it was both extremely reasonably priced but also quick and suitable for my needs. When what I had purchased was offered at a reduced price shortly after my order had been dispatched they refunded the difference without any fuss. Finally when I received my order which had been placed on Thursday and arrived the following Tuesday there was a minor fault in one of my dual screens for which they immediately dispatched a replacement without me even having to return the faulty monitor. I would not hesitate to use this business again or to recommend them to others. What started as a stressful experience for me ended up been one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had.
