Castlemaine, you are very lucky to have such beautiful food at your doorstep. We’ve eaten at Phamily Kitchen twice now, experiencing the recent summer and autumn menus. 10/10 both times. Up there with hatted restaurants!!

Vegans rejoice ! The food was excellent. We tried every vegan dish on the menu and we weren't disappointed. Will be back next time we are in town.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Don’t let the limited menu put you off. Less options makes for a higher quality dining experience here. Friendly and attentive staff.

Vietnamese is my favourite cuisine and I was delighted to see this restaurant had vegan options on the menu.Friendly service and we didn't have to wait too long for our food, although as per their notification, my partner and my meals were served a few minutes apart.

Came here early without a reservation and was able to get a table. As with other reviews we felt the man serving us was not the friendliest and just standoff-ish in general. Ordered a mix of things and all of the food was pretty good. It's more Vietnamese-fusion food so the flavours are interesting. For the food alone it is not a bad place to go. Not the most suitable for those with young kids (as we did) but they survived on spring rolls and rice and fried chicken.

Just moved to Castlemaine and how wonderful to find this restaurant.Two beautiful Vietnamese chefs who are so fastidious with each meal.This is not a quick turnover cafe You need to sit back and enjoy a few courses and a few wines..Cannot wait to get back and try a few more dishes.

We were wondering why there were no other diners for lunch, as the aroma from the kitchen alone was enough to get us excited. Then, a steady steam developed and we enjoyed three wonderful selections - Banh Mi , Wok-tossed Beef, and Vegetarian Pho. Helen, our waitress, was extremely helpful and guided us on our entree and wine choices. Four of us came away realising we had discovered a local gem.
