Trayon Slide on Campers

We bought our new Trayon Diesel Deluxe camper mounted on a Ford Ranger Super Cab last year in September 2018 and have used it on 7 different occasions so far, one being for 18 nights camping in one spot with the camper off the ute.We have also used it several times not connected to electricity, however with the solar panels fitted on the double shower, and a lithium battery, have easily stayed out there for up to 4 or 5 nights (and could do more if needed).We had some initial issues aligning the camper on the back of the ute but with some very useful tips and guidance from the Trayon team have been able to make this an easy and quick operation (we look forward to the soon to be released remote-controlled raising and lowering system with an individual motor per support leg).A highlight for us was our first biennial Trayon muster last year where we met many other enthusiastic Trayon owners and were able to get lots of new ideas on slide-on camper usage.We cannot praise the Trayon staff enough for all their useful and patient advice over emails, phone calls and face to face chats regarding the many different aspects of enjoying our Trayon camper experience.From first contact with Trayon at a camping and caravan show, through choosing the features of our own camper, taking delivery of it and then using it to enjoy the great Australian outdoors, our Trayon slide-on camper has more than lived up to our expectations. We would highly recommend Trayon to others wanting a compact, quick setup, light-weight, outdoor camping experience without having to tow.

Brilliant camper which gets you closer to nature in total comfort.I purchased a 1980 Diesel Deluxe in June 2020.Australian made using aircraft manufacturing principles, Trayons are robust, light weight with a low profile which helps fuel economy.Mine sits on a 2021 Isuzu Dmax space cab which comes standard with a low emission and economical engine. When touring fully loaded on sealed roads it consistently returns 8.3 - 8.7 LTRs per 100kms.Ducted heating works a treat. Once I was caught in a heavy storm and the camper remained completely watertight.Reflective surface on tent fly helps to keep the interior cool.Roll down windows with midgy proof netting provide good ventilation, held in place with easy to grip heavy duty zips.Because the Trayon is typically mounted on a 4x4, the view from inside is great.A lockable screen door provides security when sleeping or away from your camp.No complaints, great family business to deal with.

Superb quality, easy to set up, huge storage capacity and outstanding back-up service.Five years of ownership and rugged testing in high country and desert areas have reinforced my view that I bought the right camper.

It's got my needs covered, toilet, shower, heater comfy bed with a bamboo toper and carpet under mattress.It doesn't take too long to pop up.Quite sturdy. I use sun shields meant for the car windscreen in summer to slow the heat in the tent area. 2 fans inside makes it cool and comfy. I'd say Trayon is Great storage solution for travellers.

Purchased the Dual Cab Dual Wide Diesel Delux Trayon camper with the turnkey service 2 yrs ago. Best purchase we ever did. Have done some short travel camping and a long travel camping trip. Brisbane to Loxton. With many more to come.Any questions we had has always been quickly answered. And any upgrades have been painless to get.

Two years since pickup of our 1980 Diesel Delux. The Trayon team are as helpful and responsive now, as they were before we decided to purchase. Great support and culture. Proudly Australian.We have spent 5 months in our Trayon and travelled 40,000km. Travelled some rough roads, setup in some tight places, on cold nights had travelling companions over to enjoy the heater and hot chocolate, taken my fishing boat to camp and fish new destinations. Very happy to be part of the Trayon family.

Just like to tell you a little about our experience with the Trayon company, rather than the camper - which is great. Our first experience was when we turned up at the factory on a Monday morning to check them out. We'd driven up from NSW to their Maroochydore home base. Closed! A Queensland holiday. But no worries, the family patriarch drove round, opened up and told us all we wanted to know.Our dealings with this family company have continued in the same vein. For instance the trayon company facilitated a turn key vehicle for us. Went very smoothly till the car dealer started to stuff up the process. The trayon team stepped in, sorted the mess. This was not their job, but they did it to help us. Above and beyond we thought.Very professional, very helpful and friendly. Both during the build process and after. This is the best slide on by far. We have owned two other brands and a trayon has all the comforts in all kinds of weather. Having traveled 10s of thousands of km all over Australia our camper is still like new.
