Rest stop
Good for quick stops but not for sleeping. Can't escape the road noise. Walk to the top of the hill for good views

Is a truck change over bay at night and very noisy for tourists. Has a environmental toilet and table and chairs but only on the north bound side.

Wouldnt recommend for cars or caravans at night, trucks use this halfway point between Sydney and Melbourne to meet and swap trailers , extremely noisy and busy. There are oodles of nicer quieter and safer spots to have a break.

Don't stop there if you need to go to the toilet. Not enough parking for us who do change overs there especially if other drivers pull up and sleep there.

It's always great to have places like this along the highways, so can pull up and rest, or stretch your back and legs. Having loos is a bonus. Yes, lots of trucks stop there too. Specially at nights during the week. So, best take that into consideration as well.

Typical roadside toilet...relatively clean but smelly. Some steel picnic tables under shade and bins. Unfortunately quite a bit of litter and no handle on tap and empty liquid soap.

Bizarre description for this place. Safe place to get off the road. Toilets best avoided - especially in warmer weather

Very Busy changeover place for trucks. It's on a slope. Dangerous. My maxis didn't engage one day (sensor on the maxis broke) and careened off, middle of the night, in the rain, no Moon for for light. I can laugh about it now. Plenty and better rest(toilet) stops, one 5 minutes further Southbound(billabong rest with normal toilets) and the other 20 minutes northbound at Tarcutta.
