Maclin Lodge Motel

Hands down THE CLEANEST shower I have ever been in in a motel. Was only staying for one night but all the staff were really lovely. Chinese restaurant onsite wasn’t bad either.

Surprisingly a very nice play to stay with the family. Receptionist was lovely and accommodating. Cheap price! Small but nice rooms. Definitely a great motel to stay at. If in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

Fantastic service from staff, super friendly and accommodating to a last minute booking. Amazing water pressure in the shower, the kind of pressure one dreams of!Great facilities for the price.

After 13 hours by motorcycle from Melbourne, was happy to pull into this motel and be greeted by wonderful welcoming staff, didn't have a booking, but staff were helpful and were happy to provide a room as well as pencil in" a second night ( I should plan better

Good size room with everything we needed. Very clean. We did a late self check in, the instructions were clear, the room was ready for us with aircon and lights on.

Great budget motel! What a lovely team! Thank you to the warm welcoming lady from Co.Down, the kind accommodating Lisa on check out, the hardworking housekeeping team and your grounds team for the well maintained grounds. Kids had fun at the pool! Well managed property. We will be back.

i stayed a few nights with my children and it was a pleasant stay- two sinks in the bathroom were very useful for a big family- room service was meticulous- cleaners were kind and helpful- quiet and private area- Good wheel - chinese restaurant within the lodge was very nicegood food, kind service and reasonable price- good locationOn top of this, I lost my ear ring on my checkout day and rang the hotel about this.They tried to find mine and kindly posted my lost jewelry to my address.Staff members communicated well with each other and with me on this.Overall, top quality service!Highly recommendable.

The receptionist was nice enough when we arrived on 02/04/23 , but when opening the door to room11, there was an odor .the carpets looked dirty, one of the chairs was broken , the bulk head above the showers look like it had water damage, which would have the waste water pipes for the up stairs unit, spotted cockroaches managed to kill two one in the bathroom the other in the main room, left them for the cleaners but they were gone in the morning, look up what eats cockroaches the , lizards ,rats or mice, did not see any , but did notice marks on the skirting boards, so we advised the manager only to be told we live in Australia we must expect this, not the responses I expected i know it was only a 3 star motel, but they must be clean and maintained and all pest dealt with. we don't normally write reviews but the managers/owners responses shocked me, see added photos

Had a great stay. Housekeeping staff brilliant. Only downside was security lights from school behind motel (pelmets are needed to block it better).
