Philthy McNasty's Fried Chicken
Been living in Perth for over 30yrs, before whence everything was bushland and the only food was for kilometres. Philthy McNasty's is a lot classier looking than the logo may suggest. I'm a vegetarian so I had a tofu Banh Mi, and my mother, lamb. I thought mine needed some work (tofu needed more seasoning) but my mother is VERY picky with food and actually enjoyed hers.Place was very nice and clean. Relatively friendly staff and they even do iced tea (various flavours) refills. I think I'll come back with my brother sometime and pickup a Banhi Mi for my mother as well. 3.5/4 stars for me. :)

Being a business based on fried chicken, KFC is always going to be the point of reference.I can safely say this is of much higher quality in food, service and store environment. The chicken was crisp and fresh as it should be, the food took a little bit of time but that's because it was cooked to order.However, there weren't many customers at all though, I could see how wait times could get bad if it's busy. It is also significantly more expensive, almost double the price for a similar sized meal.

I had the Philthy Sandwhich (with the 10/10 hotness which was just right for me). A decent sized burger with a nice crispy coating on a quality brioche. The loaded fries were tasty. Food service was good and they had a great outdoor area to eat. Would eat here again.

Long story short. Went on a quiet Saturday afternoon. After being charged an astronomical amount of money, we were asked multiple times what we had ordered. Waited almost an hour for 2 burgers and 4 tenders. Burgers were pretty good but not amazing. Definitely had better for less elsewhere with shorter wait times.

Fantastic lunch spot. The pork belly Bahn Mi is loaded and delicious, the chicken burgers are great, and the $5 bottomless ice tea is great. Excellent value and incredibly tasty!

Friendly helpful staff, fast service. Nice atmosphere with good music playing in the background.I Went with the Fried Chicken Sandwich + Bacon Philthy Hot, 3 Chicken Tenders Philthy Hot, with Crispy Fries.Philthy Hot was a good heat, not overly hot to spoil the meal. Crispy juicy well cooked chicken. Fries were also nice and crispy.

I was quite excited to try this place - decent google reviews and I really enjoy American influenced cuisine.The prices were decent, about $15 for each meal and bottomless iced tea.There were only four tables occupied (including us).On the way outside to my table, I held the door open for an older male staff member who didn’t even acknowledge me or say thank you. I really hate poor manners and overtly said ‘you’re welcome’. He muttered under his breath.The food took about 40 minutes to be prepared and after 30 I asked the same older staff member how long, he became quite aggressive. He reacted in a pretty poor manner forcing me to repeat myself and defend myself in asking! He was incredibly rude.The food appeared with no apology for the long wait.I don’t mind waiting if there’s an indication on how long at the time of ordering, or an apology when the food arrives.The food was nice enough but the 7/10 sauce didn’t even touch the sides.I probably won’t be back here in a rush purely in principle for the poor service and manners.

YUM!!!As I prefer hot dogs over burgers, I’m always on the lookout for good ones. Tonight I tried one at Philthy McNasty’s, I have to say that it was one of the best I’ve tried. The sausage was like a smoked German style and the bun was absolutely the best I’ve ever had.I thought nothing could beat the hotdogs I used to get from The Doghouse in Carlisle (now closed) but these are just as good, if not better.

Absolute amazingly juicy chicken. A ‘breath of fresh air,’ so far as the burger and chicken scene is concerned.Very fresh salad in the burgers too.They have 5 different selections of ‘heat’ to choose from.An excellent thing is unlike other foods where you decide the heat level, it doesn’t take away from the flavour of the chicken.- If you are in Joondalup, make the effort to get there.- If you aren’t in the area, make the effort to get there. It will be worth it.You can also buy the powder to take home for yourself.Can’t wait to go back again.
