The best chicken, chips and gravyyyy on the GC. We are regulars here. The chips are so fresh, tasty and perfect amount of chicken salt. The gravy is freshly made and delicioussss. Chickens are always juicy and fresh. Mary runs the shops most days on her own, she is a hard working, friendly lady!

Terrible value for money, chickens have flies flying in the box that keeps them warm and I saw pigeons in the back kitchen. I doubt the older lady is productive enough to keep up the hygiene of these animals so I bet it's pretty grubby back there.

Apart from being extremely slow. The chicken burger which had chunks of dry roast chicken was the worse! We threw the burgers out. Complete waste of time waited and money. The fries were fine

Tasty and well cooked chips, chicken was also pretty good but a bit dry. Burger bun was also dry, would probably be better toasted. Shop is quite old and could do with a facelift, but looked clean.

Yum, yum and yum! I love this place, it's our new takeaway joint. The chips are amazing, always cooked hot and fresh. I love the chicken, chips and salad deal for less than 10 bucks..... bargain! Not to mention the lovely, friendly lady who owns the place, she is a gem. We go here weekly. Did I already mention that it's yummy???

I have been buying my takeaway from this place for years. For good reason! All the food is always fresh inc. salads. There is a great variety of menu items and to this day, after 17 years, I still think the chips are the best in Southport. Fresh, fresh, fresh!! Great customer service and flexibility puts this in my top 3 fave places to get food from when I want easy, tasty, healthy. I highly recommend to anyone.

Fish and chips. It was oil bath, overly burned chips. Fish was plastic taste. Couldn't finish.average menu, good price/cheap, terrible taste, bad service, no ambiance. Not again.
