Ubajee Walkers Camp

Nice area, lovely sunset and sunrise.

Did a half day hike to Ubajee and back from Mapleton Day use area with Sunshine Coast Council in conjuction with Sunshine Coast Bushwalking Club.An easy walk for people of reasonable fitness, older children would cope well with this walk too.Many different vegetation types and many species of birds along the way.Be mindful after rain that some of the creek crossings may be tricky .Wear appropriate footware, take plenty of water and usual sun protection measures.Let someone know where you are going before you leave.The campsite at Ubajee is walk in only and needs to be prebooked through Department of Environment. There are fantastic views from the adjoining lookout. Very peaceful area.There is a composting toilet onsite with small water tank (treat water before drinking).All rubbish must be taken out with walker. Do not feed the native animals.

A fabulous spot!! Only 3k or so from the leafy lane trailhead. You’ll need something to clean/filter the water with. I’d be here every weekend if it was dog friendly!

Great view. 1h each way from leafy lane. Worth it.

Decent facilities not to far from the Leafy and Delicia Great Walk entrances.

Amazing campsite with timber platform make camping easier. Clean toilet and water available (filtration needed). Amazing from Ubajee view point especially early morning.

Walkers Camp along the Great Walk. Has toilet and water(not sure if it's drinkable, needs filtration)about 7k's from Mapleton Falls National Park.

Beautiful and peaceful. Less than 3km walk from car park. Good facilities with wood tables and chairs.

Easy walk-in from the Leafy Lane trail head for a quiet night camping. Just a short walk to the Ubajee Lookout. What more could one want?
