The price was decent but the room are small and we had 3 spiders. I think it’s time to update it and sprayed the rooms. But the service was very helpful

I don’t know where they get any good reviews from. Our room was disgustingly filthy, towels that should have been used as rags, dust everywhere BUT WORST OF ALL was the uncleanliness of the bathroom where mould was everywhere in the shower.Don’t book the rooms under their own accomodation or you will be kept awake all night with heavy footsteps that continued right throughout the night (very thin floorboards). Book at your own risk.

Easy to find. Cleanliness of the room needs improvement, found kids shoes under the bed, hair on the shower walls and only fresh towels given, beds not made or fresh/clean dishes not available on our return.

This place gets an automatically 5 stars as they really helped us out. We'd booked with another hotel and arranged a late check-in, but after 40 minutes trying to get the key and no answer from the night manager I rang round and found one of the few that had a 24 hour reception and room for us.We managed to get a triple room so our family didn't have to sleep in the car and turned out great. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We ended up staying an extra night and enjoyed the great food at their restaurant (takeaway available in the evening too).Defo recommend. A+

Called the Bandicoot late at night after having a car accident 20 mins from Hamilton and needing a place to stay. The staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were a little dated, but neat and clean! Staff even brought a first aid kit to the room, because minor injuries were sustained from accident. Great little motel, friendly vibe, can’t complain :)

If there was zero I would give it zero. Absolutely filthy room. Would have left if it wasn't so late and I wasn't so exhausted. Pulled back the sheets and there was a muddy footprint of a work boot on the top sheet. Mould all over the shower curtain. A big black public hair hanging off the front of the toilet. Dirt and hair in all corners of the bathroom. Dust and dirt all down the inside of the front door. Old air con still in room covered in dirt and spider webs. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Took photos but won't load for some reason.

What a dump. Keep driving. At $25.00 per night it would be $25.00 too much. Any health inspector would close it down in a heartbeat. How it get 4+ stars shows something smells other than the rooms.
