Wee Jasper General Store/Golden Fleece Gasoline/WeeJasper CellarDoor

To all traveling through the Wee Jasper area,I was greatly disappointed to learn that this general store, which on its webpage declares it is open, was and is shut. My partner and I, who aren’t locals, had been hoping to stop by for some dinner supplies as we were camping. Luckily a resident, from the surrounding area, saw our bemused faces and gave us some directions to the nearest shops (Yass which is about a 30 minute drive away). He also told us that the grocer had been “mostly” shut for about 10 years, occasionally opening on a single weekend in a year.Anyways, this is just a friendly shout out to all who may end up in our shoes.Take care,Ps. We ended up eating honey sandwiches for dinner that night (as it was dark and dangerous to drive).
