Cradle Mountain Canyons

We kayaked with Hannah at Dove Lake today. Hannah was fabulous! She accommodated everything we required and she was really knowledgeable and interesting with her commentary. The kayaks were magnificent- painstakingly built from King Billy Pine. The view of the mountain was great and even though it was cold, we were snug in the kayak. Great adventure today. Cheers to Hannah!

Our family did the Alum Cliffs 3 day packrafting adventure down the Mersey River and it was completely wonderful! Our guides, Urs, Chris & Norse were professional, experienced and a lot of fun. They were also apparently magicians, able to pull off great meals while camping on a rock cliff. Some of our group had dietary concerns and allergies and this wasn't a problem at all and a great variety of food was provided. The scenery was constantly changing and very beautiful and packrafting enabled us to experience it in such a unique way. We felt safe on the river at all times as our guides were very experienced. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Thrills and chills - Dove Canyon is not a trip for the faint hearted! But you will remember this trip your whole life and Cradle Mountain’s expert guides will get you through. They know what the6 are doing. Great trip, great people!

My partner and I did the Dove Canyon tour with Pat and Zach yesterday morning and it honestly exceeded all expectations! My partner now wants to become a canyon guide himself because he loved it that much!Thank you guys so much for the amazing day! Special shout out to Pat for the recommendation of Chocolate coated raspberries from Christmas Hill Raspberry farm too! They are 10/10!

We had the most incredible time on the Machinery Canyon tour! The abseils, views and guides were 10/10 and we will definitely be back to do Dove canyon! Can’t recommend enough (if you like an adventure!)

Absolutely incredible experience well worth the money. My friend and I did the Dove Canyon. Plenty of waterfall jumps and obstacles, snacks and photos provided. Photos were excellent. Staff were amazing, really helpful, friendly and safe.

Excellent day out. Our guides Sean and Felix did a wonderful job of making sure everyone felt comfortable with the jumping, sliding, walking, abseiling and swimming down Dove Canyon. Highly recommended.

Epic day out!! So close to home in Sheffield and so fun. A must for anyone visiting the area for sure. The guides were friendly and accomodating. I grew up in Sheffield and didn't know a lot of the history the guides knew.
