The PlayShack Indoor Play Centre & Cafe

Playshack's no outside food policy is way over the top. Today my daughter who has special needs was not allowed to eat a small container of nutri grain we brought with us. She has issues with food and it is so difficult to get her to eat when out. I understand that this is a business and allowing outside food would mean people wouldn't buy from the cafe but we did buy food and drinks so surely there could be flexibility for a child with special needs.The owner told me, in a harsh abrupt manner, that they do not allow outside food because of the risk of allergens for children but for goodness sake it was nutri grain. They serve egg, milk and other allergens in their menu so it is clearly an excuse.It was not just my daughter that was not allowed her food. The owner also told a group of about 7 mums that they could not feed their babies pouch food they had brought in. The babies were all under one. So ridiculous!! It even says on their website that baby food is allowed. That table of mums left soon after.I will not be returning!

The food and coffee is fantastic. Staff are really friendly, good spot to let your kids wreak havoc.

Great for kids but good orders almost always take forever. I’ve often had to follow up on an order 30 mins later. Kid’s have fun and very easy to supervise them from a distance. I like that a lot.

Playshack hosted a party for my 5 year old today. The team were so incredibly helpful and friendly and ensured everything ran so smoothly. The kids had a blast. Also very reasonably priced and great food.

I was so impressed with The PlayShack! The staff were lovely from the moment we walked in. The play areas were clean and well maintained. The cafe was also excellent.

Never again! Haven’t left the house for two weeks, finally get out to do something fun. Now two kids with gastro. Not happy. Clean your equipment better!

Really fun. Great babies area. Only problem is when parents switch off and their big kids run riot, even in the babies area. But lovely staff and chilled.

It has been years since i been to the play shack. This is where we always went as kids today I took my daughter there and I am so impressed. Its still on pretty good nick after all these years and clean very very clean for a kids in door playground, the staff are doing an amazing job at keeping the playground, tables chair and toilets clean. Well done to all the staff u are doing an Amazing job! Another great thing i will add which is always important to me, coffee! The coffee was perfect. Spot on!

It was the second visit for me today. (Because the first time was very impressed as a special needs kid parent)But, today I was very disappointed.I just wanted to order a babychino and check my banana bread from my first order which was not served soon with our coffees. The lady who took my second order looked like very unhappy I felt even rude and just said they are preparing in a kitchen.She nearly throw the babychino on our table when she brought us.Be careful parents especially if you want to teach your kids the manner!Otherwise the coffee was nice and physically safe place to play for your kids.Also other staff were kind.
