The rolls were delicious, the guy serving the cuppas was friendly, loved patting the pooch of the pub, we enjoyed our visit. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch.

I recently had my 30th Birthday party lunch at Dalton Pub.And boy was it great!Roughly 45 of my family and friends camped at one of the local farms using Hipcamp for the weekend and we went in to the Royal Hotel Dalton for a Saturday lunch.I had spoken to the owners a few days beforehand about such a large crew turning up and it wasn't going to be an issue. As such, when we arrived there were plenty of staff sending out beers and food thick and fast.The food was absolutely delicious, timely and simply hit the spot. There was something for everyone and we all left feeling full and well fed. You can't ask for more than that!We also indulged in many icy cold beers, beautiful wine and hot coffees!The publican, Craig was a gentleman and surprised us with a (free) raffle. Handing out a few gifts to my mates who pulled the lucky numbers. What a legend!There was ample seating for such a large group. We chose to sit outside which was perfect for the whole family. We had little kids playing fetch with the local kelpie Pub Dog, Rusty. Whilst the oldies soaked up some warm sun rays as the arvo trickled on.Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon to celebrate my birthday. I was truly stoked. Many of friends who ventured down from Sydney said how grateful they were to have enjoyed such a true Aussie Bush Pub experience.Cheers to the Royal Hotel Dalton -thank you!
