Not the best experience. Judith Lucy show was uninspiring. A sales op for her book and Q&A from the audience. I have always loved her stuff but this did not feel respectful of the audience. Poor co-ordination with the venue. Queues of people and no chance of a bite to eat before the show. Sad for a night out I had been anticipating since Christmas.

Chopper Read’s show, what a legend! His fast paced clever and intelligent comedy interludes with the “odd” F word was absolutely hilarious. How he went from topic to topic flowed beautifully and then 20 mins later he said something that tied it all together. Chopper, it was worth the two year wait!!!! Thank you! Our first time at the amazing Brisbane PowerHouse event was par excellence, with great food, wine and atmosphere sitting beside the Brisbane River !!! Well worth going to see local and international comedy at this iconic venue.
