Went there before Christmas and their customer service was awful. I was looking for a whetstone as I’d gotten some knives from elsewhere and the lady was so rude to me because I didn’t go to them for the knives. She kept asking me why I bought the knives and if I “only got them because they were on special” - which is absolutely none of her business and very rude.

Awful customer service. Went there to get a knife and the one they suggested me got rusty after only 2 weeks and they refused to refund me. Their solution was to buy a product to take the rust out. Hilarious.

The team were super helpful in organising the knives I was after, even though I am located in Melbourne, they jumped on the phone and talked through the different sized options I was looking at. They organised delivery and kept checking in with me (I love good customer service so 5 stars in that department). Thanks again

Best shop for the best gadgets in Cairns! From Leatherman, Led Lenser and Muela to Zyliss, Avanti and Savannah branded products, they have the biggest variety of outdoor gadgets and kitchen tools in the far north I reckon. There is often a great sale on as well so watch out for that. Whenever I need something unusual I always think of King of Knives first. There is also another King of Knives in Stockland Shopping Centre in Earlville.

There are tons of knives and kitchen stuff as well as helpful staff. If there is sold stuff, there's another branch at Stockland where approximately 5mins drive from there.

We purchased a filleting knife from Jarrod a few months ago and are extremely happy. It has already outlasted the more expensive knife that we had purchased from a fishing store. It is sharper and makes filleting a breeze! Definitely recommend seeing Jarrod if you are needing any knives - he knows what King of Knives sell inside out and does his best to find what suits you!

Was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable Cyndal was about the knives in the store, went in looking for information on some knives for my knew kitchen and she walked me through the rage she has. The do's and dont's and helped me work out which knives are good for my life style.
