Majura Park Childcare Centre

My three children attended Majura Park Childcare over the past five years, and I can't speak highly enough of the facilities, staff, and education program. The staff here have always treated my children with absolute love, attention and patience, and the kids have loved being here.The kids are fed fantastic meals by the lovely Jelynn, who takes great pride in her work and this is confirmed by the kids enthusiastic participation in meal times through the day.The education program is well structured and interesting for the kids. Throughout every term, the kids explore significant dates and events across many cultures - my kids loved celebrating Diwali (the festival of lights), commemorating ANZAC Day and participating in activities to mark the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The Centre also actively prepares the oldest children for transition to preschool, which was hugely beneficial for my oldest child.I have always found the staff here to be top-knotch. They are caring and considerate, patient and kind. But above all, they are professional beyond doubt. This was highlighted when we arrived at the centre one morning to find the building being evacuated due to a fire alarm (the alarm was tripped due to a false alarm in an ajoining building, but no one knew this at the time). The staff calmly and professionally evacuated every child and baby out of that building with such efficiency, that all staff and kids were out and accounted for in about a minute (and at least five minutes before any of the public servants emerged from the buildings next door). The drills and procedures demonstrated during this time highlighed to me just how much the staff care about my kids, and reasured me that our most precious little things are in safe hands through the day.Location wise we found the Centre handy for dropping the kids off while I was working at Russell Offices. Its location close to shops and Kingswim meant I wasnt driving all over town with a car full of kids to pick up groceries after work or take the kids to their swimming lessons.I highly recommend Majura Park Childcare Centre to families moving to Canberra, or who may be looking for a better child care option than their current one - we moved from another centre at Brindabella Park in 2019, as we werent happy with that one - we never looked back.

One of our children attended this day care and we couldn’t have been more happier, the amount of love that is put into this place can not be over looked, I highly highly recommend this place for your childrenThank you to all the staff
