Muffin Break Robina

Muffin was nice, but did not get the coffees we asked for...ie..2 x sml f/w, we got 1 LG f/w, and cup too big, so coffee went cold, & 1 cappuccino..

I can't believe that head office is not recognizing these bad reviews in regards to their loyalty vouchers and birthday muffins not being accepted at this Robina store. This has happened to me twice, and the second time was with a voucher they issued after the first incident. It's ridiculous, after being a loyal customer for literally years. This man makes you feel like a criminal for trying to redeem any voucher. Please do something about it, so we may enjoy muffin break once again.

I went to redeem a free muffin for my birthday through their rewards program. The manager blatantly refused to give me the free muffin and pointed out that I had a takeaway coffee in my hand already and is not spending money at the shop, so will not give me the free muffin. It left me feeling very unwelcome and offended. I don’t think I will ever go back there or have good reviews to give about the shop. A change in the rewards program may be needed if franchisees are not happy to reward it?

Chocolate chip muffins should have chocolate chips throughout the muffin..... a few sprinked on top of an otherwise bland muffin is hardly worth the price. To add insult to injury you need to pay extra for butter to moisten the dry, bland, chocolate chip-less experience.

Arrived at 3:40pm and most of the place is packed up. But still almost an hour till they close. No longer serving coffee and made to feel that they don't want anymore customers. One of the worst sausage rolls ever. They warmed it up in microwave for too long, came out dried out and tasted terrible. I can now understand all the other low ratings.

Last month (April) I headed into the shopping centre to claim all my birthday freebies. Got my Boost, a GJ coffee, some free chips & wanted to get a muffin. I found Muffin Break! Normally I go to the Garden City store, but we were watching a movie in Robina that day.The lady smiled at me when I popped in. She said hello to which I said hello back and said I’d like to claim my free birthday muffin, holding up my app. Her smile was instantly washed away and I was left with what seemed an emotionless human ‘serving’ me from then on. She said “you tell me which one” and so I pointed and asked politely “May I please have that one with the white chocolate”.She then proceeds to bag up the muffin in such a way that when i eventually opened it, there were marks from where she had taken her displaced anger out on the muffin when scrunching the bag.She popped it on the counter, said “yep, thank you ok, bye”Now, I’m not sure why I was treated like a thief, when she was the one who stole MY enjoyment. She didn’t ask me if I wanted it microwaved. I realised this after a few steps out of the store and was going to turn around and go back and ask her to do that, but I thought hmmm, no better not it might make matters worse.Thanks though, to the cafe down the corridor who kindly microwaved the muffin for me in place of muffin break.I’ve read a few reviews about this store, mine is purely my own from my own experience and not biased from others reactions to their own dealings.Love the products, don’t like some of the operators. Please, help this store.

So at 2.25pm today I tried to take my very elderly parents for coffee and muffins here, somewhere we have always enjoyed. When ordering we were told takeaway only and the girl started putting our muffins in a paperbag. I queried and said we are eating in and why not coffee and our muffins on ceramic. She said they were closing. I queried and asked what time? 4.00pm she said! It's 2.25pm, why can't they provide the service we normally receive. Obviously wanting to go home early and cant be bothered washing more crockery. Don't worry about the customers or the businesses reputation. It's 1 hour 35 minutes before you close. Not impressed. We left and went to Mrs Fields and got great service and our coffee in ceramic. If you want repeat business, its time for some serious staff discussions.

Went to a $2 muffin treat for Halloween this morning. Ordered a small flat white too. Served fast and both the banana muffin & the coffee were good. However, I just received an email from your team saying that I’ve redeemed my free coffee. I was surprised as I paid $6 for my small coffee & muffin. Hope I can have my free coffee back to my reward membership.

We were there last week and were charged $1 for an extra hot water. Croissant was inedible and service was rude and appalling. Who charges an extra $1 for hot water anyway- we will not be back !!!!
