Sold us 2 possum deterrent devices, said to call if any issues. Had no effect on possums, so called and emailed multiple times to revisit or give a refund. Kept making excuses and never turned up or gave a refund, all the while still offering his services to new unsuspecting customers with a supposed bad back. Very unprofessional, took the money and ran. Took up issue with consumer affairs and they didn't reply to CA either. Avoid Bye Bye Possum and Jason D'Costa, he will not honour the 18 month guarantee. Will be going to VCAT next to get my money back.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS SERVICE!I have had an issue with possums in my roof space for some time. I had previously tried to engage Peter the Possum man but the waitlist was almost 6 months. Instead (at their suggestion) I searched forpossum removal services in my area and came across Bye Bye Possum.On the phone Jason sounded quite professional and explained in detail what he would do - however given the issue had been going so long I wanted something done promptly so let him come and look over my property whilst I wasn't there - he assured me he could do everything needed without entering the property.He subsequently told me and sent photos of a hole where he said the possums were getting in - he also told me I had rats and birds living in my roof cavity - he suggested a course of action that included a temporary one way door for the roof and a treatment for the rats that encouraged them to leave the house looking for water.Initially it seemed that all was better and the one way door was removed.However after some weeks the possums were back - I suggested they might be coming from the adjoining house via the party wall - he kept saying he would come and look at it for me but he has not come and no longer answers his phone!! I am incredibly annoyed as I chose his service as it was local and offered a guarantee but I now feel I may have been somewhat scammed as I have never actually met the man and I have spent over $500 on a completely inadequate service - I am not even sure there ever was any treatment for the supposed rats.Please BUYER BEWARE!!

Two appointments missed due to him being sick, although a phone call would have been appreciated.When he did arrive Saturday morning he found my problem an fixed it.He was very apologetic for the missed bookings and gave me a discount for the inconvenience he caused.EDIT - BBP was to come back and do a follow up visit but ended up never happening.Not a reliable service.

Asked him to come over twice and no response. Gave me a spin about method to remove rats and said it comes with 1 year warranty. Paid $300 and hasn’t come back once. Absolute spin. Don’t use this guy. Wasting your money.

Claimed he rarely had a call back and did things better than others but has been 2 months of commitments to return and never has. Still have the same problem. I would recommend trying someone else

This is the first time I’m ever rating a local business 1/5. I’m very conscious of negatively impacting a local business however in this situation I feel it’s my duty to warn other families before they engage Jason from bye bye possum.Jason did not honour his 12 month warranty for his possum removal work he did. He never came back out after I provided him video evidence that there were still possums in our ceiling. He organised multiple times to come out but never showed. Examples of his reasons for not showing up were that he’s car broke down, that he was moving house and that he wasn’t feeling well. I found this strange and unprofessional.The possum removal job was completed on 5th Oct 2022, I messaged Jason on 29th Nov 2022 stating possums are back. He used the excuses above over the course of 2 months until I asked for a refund on 1st Feb 2023 so that I can call out another possum removal company. I never heard from Jason again.The entire process was extremely stressful for me, I spent over $464 with Jason, I have a pregnant wife who finds it difficult to sleep with the possums running in the ceilings. We’ve now called and paid for another company which are a lot more professional and helpful.I would highly recommend anyone looking for pest removal to look for another company. I think if the job is successful the first time Jason is not a bad option. But if the problem persists and you need to call Jason back, he’s not very obliging.

Came out same day and was punctual.Found we had a Rodent problem and was gone in 2 weeks.Information wad ckear and PunctualHighly recommend.JMD

Warning! Jason came round to fix his possum devices very quickly. These he assured me were not cheap Chinese devices and would definitely rid my garden of possums. They didn't. I contacted him many times and he always said he would come, but always had a variety of excuses as to why he hadn't turned up, which i see he has used with other people too. Purchased in September, I gave up calling him in November because it was obvious he had no intention of following up. Waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews first.

As above for all the negative reviews.Do not use this business. Unreliable l, has excuses after excuses, and won’t provide a refund as he should as his service didn’t work we still have a rodent in the roof. Made many excuses for not coming, requested payment very early on and hasn’t honoured his guarantee!!
