Kangaroo Flat Fish Shop (Next to Domino’s Pizza)
Running late and on way home, no inclination to cook so stopped here, very pleased I did, proper fish and chips, not dripping in fat or oils which is rare these days. I did enjoy them, I'll be back, and maybe sooner than I might have expected. Cheers Ken

Food was ok i had 1 scallop that was 3.20 so i am glad it at least was big. A piece of Snapper that was good and four potato cakes that were good my son had chips were small but tasty a piece of flake that was dry and tough and two crab sticks that were good. Overall good accept for the flake.Prices were on the high side but the place was busy so always a good sign.Would recommend but maybe better value to be had as many fish and chip shops in bendigo and surrounds.

Last weekend I ordered 2 souvlakies - they were cold when I got them home. (I live 3 minutes away). I told them my grieance - didn't see any interest from the owner. (It has changed owvership recently)Tonight I ordered a steak sandwich with onion, tomato, beetroot as well as a lunch pack.Opening the steak sandwich it turned out to be a burger. The ingrediants was 3 tiny pieces of beetroot, one small slice of tomato and a scrapping of onion. Pointed out that the amount offered (at 70 cents each) was not acceptable, the owner resondes with That's what we put on them"After having been a loyal customer over the years

Really great fish and chips. I come from Mornington Peninsula and know good seafood and was really impressed that such an inland fish and chip shop has such amazing fish! And the chips were lovely and fresh :) Staff busy but managing to multi task amazingly and friendly too. Great work!

Can't even get deliveries to your door, blames Menulog for problems. Owner would not even speak to me. Terrible service. Would not re issue the order. Know before you buy. They will not replace your order if its not delivered to you or there's a mix up.Edit for owner: There is no excuse for your behavior or not re issuing the order. Still blaming others for bad customer service.

$5 chips looks like $1 worth, especially on a Monday, tried to call to ask if I did order $5 or what but phone goes straight to answer machine for over a hour so I give up. Older lady on the till is great however the other three were loud and with distasteful language.i think the whole fish n chips has gotten expensive and low quality now days... So hard to get good fish n chips
