Cockle Bay is a hidden gem on Magnetic Island. There is always something there with photographing from the boats on the shoreline to the wreck of the SS City of Adelaide to the Birdlife in the lagoon.More of my images #chrisjohnart

Although there's many mangroves (which means a lot of bitey insects), there's a beautiful view, especially if you have a drone. Boating and kayaking is good. There's a nice reef and a shipwreck.

Amazing!!! I went a low tide to visit the SS Adelaide and was amazed. Would recommend reef shoes for the walk across, about ten minutes to get to the wreck but we'll worth it. I can imagine the beach is stunning at high tide.

A great part of Magnetic Island just off the beaten path, but close enough to stay near all of the amenities the island has to offer. Spectacular spot to enjoy sunset.
