Not 2 far off the main road and easy to get 2. Basic and had drop toilets. So much space to camp without being 2 close to anyone. Was only there over night so didn't go exploring the place

Great FREE place to camp for either 1 night or a week, only about 10 minutes from Bathurst. No showers or tap water , has long drop loo but who cares. Plenty of wide open spaces to set up. A big place 8++++++++

Great location just out of town from Bathurst. Plenty of room. Still have reception for those that need to be apart of social media.

Great place to stay for a day or 2. The grounds are well kept by State Forest. There are toilets, picnic tables and a few small dams. There is no drinking water available which means that the visitor needs to be self sufficient. The large camping area is is part of the Vittoria State Forest which grows Pine trees here. It is about 4km from the main road which make for a very quiet stay.

What a lovely peaceful spot . As a first time solo freecamper, I found it to be perfect! Was extremely cold at night, but that's the Central Tablelands for you. Nice walking around. Am starting to think a bike would be a good investment too. A couple of kilometres of unsealed road well maintained.

A good spot to spend a night if traveling with a caravan. Plenty of space within the recreation area. It is a short drive off the Mitchell Highway to this location and the road is dirt. No fresh drinking water at this location. There are a few dams here although the water does not look fit for swimming in. Plenty of picnic tables and rubbish bins. There are a number of pit toilets here which during the summer months have that pit toilet smell. There is a little bit of history of the area found on signs around the reserve if you have a walk around.
