3rd time having work done by Monarch Mechanical Services. This time for a bigger job replacing the blown turbo on my 80 series Landcruiser. Evan took the time to explain what had caused the turbo failure and also took the initiative to order & replace various older (28+ year) gaskets and bolts whilst he had access to them. Overall another great experience. Very trustworthy and diligent. Would recommend for work beyond the regular service.

Evan traveled over 50 minutes to come and replace the alternator on my Land cruiser Prado, followed by a complete service. He offered me a range of days and times he would be available and arrived right at the time we organised. I had to be inside and online for a couple Uni tutorials and Evan finished the job before I knew it. Really appreciate Evan travelling and completing a quality job to have my car back up and running.

My Volkswagen Amarok went into limp mode due to DPF issues, barely making it into a safe place to pull over.Called Evan and assured me he could diagnose and repair.Arrived within 15 minutes of placing the service call.Managed to diagnose and repair the issue in 45 minutes!Would recommend Monarch/Evan to anyone looking for a reliable mobile mechanic!

Absolute legend.Usually can’t be bothered to sign on and do reviews, but this bloke saved me time, money and stuff around.Genuine advice and prompt service. Was left stranded for days with a dodgy alternator, after days of trying to find a mechanic in the hills to help me out, Evan was there in under 24 hours!Prices are amazing and the quality of work is unmatched; what’s even better is the fact he can come to you, which makes it all that much easier when we’re all so short on time.Would highly recommend to anyone needing a car doctor ;)Cheers Evan!
