Stopped for lunch and thought we would enjoy fish and chips. Service was nice, got our order , opened what we thought would be a nice lunch. Batter on the fish was burnt, chips burnt. Total let down. do not recommend

The tall blonde girl is rude, was made to wait while others who ordered and paid after me were served. Older woman was rude and they called out a number that was already called previous for my food. Worst potato scallops ever, more is less. Worst service in Charters Towers yet.

Everytime I go in to get my food I get filthy looks from that teenage blonde thing at front and the staff just sit around talking instead of working. The food is always oily, the fish is like rubber, the chips aren't always cooked, it's never ready on time and they barely answer the phone.

Good old fashion burger. Really enjoyed the home made burger. Plenty of fresh salad (including beetroot) and meat paddy was delicious. Good solid bun that didn't fall apart. It was a meal on its own.

Lovely friendly service and they serve delicious food. I had a hamburger and it was extremely tasty. A local I spoke to said they do great burgers, fish burgers and beef.The shop itself is a little tired but hey it's the food we come for. We'll done ladies.

Wasted 36.50 on red emperor and chips yesterday,the 3 of us didn’t eat it all, the fish was undercooked on the inside and overcooked on the outside,totally disappointing,try to support the locals and this was my first time there and I think it was my last
