Storage units are fine, access is quite good and centre as a whole is fairly clean - however there is often a white car parked inside semi-permanently taking up a spot which can be annoying when busy. The main problem I have is with NS is their style of getting you in at one price and regularly increasing it. I started with them in late 2020 at $159, increased early 2021 to $184 and then again in Jan '22 to $208 - not small increases, 15% and 13%. They know that it is difficult for people to move to a different location and just keep increasing as they wish. Another point I don't like is for payments it feels like they're still in the 1990's taking card details over the phone, no online system to be able to update payments or download invoices etc.Edit: Just now (Sept 2022) another letter increasing my rent again, this time to $230, another 10.5% increase from 9 months ago and 44% increase from the $159 I was paying when I started just under 2 years ago.Edit 2: Another rent increase - now (June 2023) to $257 per month - 9 months since our last increase. Another 11.7% increase. Total increase since October 2020 to now is $98 or 61.6% increase from my original rent payment less than 3 years ago. When choosing a storage provider beware of the low initial price and steady 20% increase per annum on average.

Easy to get to, clean, and good service

I want to echo the sentiments of others about the helpfulness of the manager, Paul. When we moved in he helped us choose out the perfect unit for our needs (we would have chosen a worse one without him) and he assisted with everything we needed specific to our situation. The price was great too (there was a promotion running but National Storage would have been cheaper than its competitors regardless). Recommended!!

Our experience with National Storage (Artarmon) was nothing short of a trainwreck! We will definitely NOT be recommending them to our family, friends, colleagues or business associates. Firstly, within less than 6 months, they highjacked our payments by increasing them by +17%. Secondly, after 1 year when we no longer required the unit, within the 'Storage Agreement', either party is required to provide 7 days' written notice to vacate. As they stipulate, rental payments must be made 1 month in advance. When we gave the requisite notice, they refused to provide the pro-rata refund of our 3 weeks rent paid in advance. Finally, it was with extreme disappointment that our storage unit was exposed to water damage which destroyed a large quantity of our precious family heirlooms & keepsakes which sadly could not be salvaged, not to mention our other items which were covered in heavy mould & took many hours to clean.

Excellent facility, clean and well maintained, good access and helpful, friendly people. I've (for my business) had years at another storage facility nearby and this place is way better in my experience.

I was a Customer here for over a year. The facility is in a quiet area, which means it has less dust than being on a highway. The entrance area is undercover and easy to negotiate. There are plenty of trolleys to move goods to and from your vehicle. There is a staff member here always. I would have liked it to be open longer hours, but I won't take away a star for that. This place offers excellent value for money on the North Shore.

I was lucky enough to turn up to the storage facility while the manager was on-site and I got all my gripes sorted and everything explained to me, I can only assume that the people in the call centre are not up to date on everything.
