We brought our 40+ person team here for lunch last week. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service (even for such a big group) was fantastic, and the location is lovely. We will definitely be back. Loved it!

A quiet and unassuming cafe with amazing food, great tasting coffee and friendly service opposite a park with kids playground. We enjoyed a coffee, ham cheese croissant and chicken & bacon toastie. Delicious! Will be returning to try out the woodfired pizzas.

Went for brunch at this cafe whilst on a club associated outing but unfortunately disappointed. The setting is greeting and the staff are friendly. The dietary request was simple which was accommodated but fell well short of expectations. I requested the burger but substituting the beef for extra bacon which I asked to be well done/crispy. The food came out in a very short time which was automatically a concern considering the number of clientele in the restaurant. The bacon was extremely undercooked and in fact still in its raw fatty state. Also, if your menu does not state a particular ingredient “don’t” add it to the food/dish. The dish did not state it contained aioli/mayonnaise but came to me with with this on it. Rather than reordering we left for another venue nearby.Advice to the owner: I know first hand that you heed all reviews to better your business/products. Train your staff to deliver exactly what your customers ask for especially if it is related to dietary. Food clientele will happily wait for food when it is prepared as requested.

Outstanding! This cafe is a hidden gem, the food is absolutely delicious. Freshly cooked and presented beautifully. A great range of brekkies on the menu, plus delicious salads and cakes. Take away options available too. We had the roasted field mushrooms and eggs benedict with salmon plus tomatoes on the side. Definitely will be back!

The food was amazing. The coffee, tasty presentation was fantastic but there was no service. No cutlery came out with the plates no serviettes, no glasses of water or bottles. You had to get all that by yourself, and when you finished eating the plates stayed on your table till you left.

Go here regularly. Always a lovely selection of food and carefully prepared drinks. Cold water in the fridge and glasses of all kinds to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating, all different. Whole range of sweet or savoury food in the glass display cabinets. Definitely recommend you visit.

Lovely food but the overall ambience was spoiled by the piles of dirty plates on many tables (often put there by customers clearing a space for themselves). Although the staff were busy, it wasn't that hectic. Especially disappointing to see them come out to serve a meal and then return to the kitchen empty-handed, cos clearly they considered picking up dirty plates 'not their job'. Whatever happened to the old waitressing adage of 'never go anywhere empty-handed'?
