Horrible service. Very very disappointed in how they treated me and my toddler today.It is pretty normal for a 2 year old to get upset when they are not comfortable with a particular situation, and as hairdressers it is their duty to make the LOs feel comfortable before they fling a cape on them without so much as a “hi, how are you?” etc. - one of the hairdressers just marched right over to my little giel, put a giant cape on her which startled her and she belted out a tune. The lady then stepped back and said, “if she’s going to be like this, I can’t do this haircut!” (I have never heard these words coming out of any hairdresser). Then her colleague who was attending to another client said to me, “yup! We are very busy today and we don’t have time for this, so please leave” - I cannot explain to you the shock and dismay that ran through my veins at the time.I mean, there is a little nook set up for kids with toys, lollies and whatnot - so, I’m guessing you guys entertain kids and also cut their hair on a daily basis?? Instead of offering my toddler any of those facilities and making her feel comfortable, they prop her up on an adult chair and scare her. In addition, asked us to leave cos my toddler was in tears.Also, this is not a free service - we are paying customers, and all customers deserve to be treated equally. I am thoroughly disappointed in how we were treated today, and will be lodging a formal complaint against all the ladies who were in the shop today (02/01/2019).I would appreciate if a manager would contact me as soon as possible. I will not recommend this salon to anyone with toddlers, and I will be posting a bad rating on your website as well. Hopeless service, and hopeless social skills.

not even worth half star. discracefull customer service. they told my 10 year old you gonna suffer from your hair when u grow up, unfortunatly he is suffering now from the disgusting hair cut he had. i would never ever go there again and i advice anyone to not use this butchering place. so terrible and rude. im so angry and sorry to do this to my kids. i was having good day till i went to this place ( can not say salon because its too far from being one).

Avoid!!! Absolutely terrible, we took my 2.5 year old boy for a hair cut there last week and he was absolutely butchered. Everyone has commented on what a bad hair cut it is. Uneven and looks like it was done by a student still learning.Totally unqualified to work with kids and ignored our instructions on how we like his hair cut. If you're unable to cut kids hair then please just don't do it. $20 Paid for the worst hair cut my son has ever had. Will never again go there or stray away from his regular barber who always does a great job.

A little bit icey to start with, no one really welcomes you in to take a seat.Staff love having conversations with each other but should probably include the clientele too.My hairdresser was quite pleasant to me in the end when she found out my profession. She probably gave me my best haircut for 2018 and assisted with giving me direction on my hairstyle.I will definitely go back to that particular hairdresser!Rated 4* for quality and value for money! The people who work here lack social skills. Paid $25 for a trim for my 2 year old daughter and I was fine with the price but not with the 2 minute job she done. If I am paying $25 at least make it worth it.

I do not recommend this salon at all and I wont be going back!!Took my girls to get trims (inch max of the bottom)today and was charged ladies prices for a kids trim. Was told its cause their hair was too long! The cuts are the worst I've ever seen. Its looks like a 2 year old hacked the back of each of thier hair!! Its uneven all over and it looks terrible!! The staff also lack social skills with adults and children and are just cranky old ladies!

I would like to vote 0 star for this barber shop. I cannot believe why this business still alive in Melbourne? Worse professional skills, worse communication to customers, worse customer care. They destroy my lovely hair and when I gave them a feed back they didn't listen. Everyone should be very carefully this haircut shop. Please share to others to avoid the worse experiences in here

I hate to post bad reviews as i am also a business owner and know how hard it is to run a good business but not for the first time Express Cuts Epping dont open on the time listed on Google.Went there just after 9am, waited with another person at the door while two staff had a chat.Waited till 9.07am and then rang their number to see if they were going to open. I was told they would be opening soon and were doing paperwork. She went back to talking instead of opening.Other than that they are decent for price point i.e. $20 for mens haircut.Issue is sometimes the person cutting hair is unhappy with other staff and unloads on you which is unprofessional.Seems like bad or no management.Sometimes its better to pay a few dollars more for consistency and profesionalism.

I explained what I wanted to the lady in thorough details and that I didn’t want the hair too short. She ended up just nodding her head and do not think she absorbed a word I said because she ended up making the hair quarter the length it actually was and a haircut not even anywhere similar to anything I explained to her. Extremely disappointed!!!

I was in the other day at express cut in Epping plaza, to my surprise I was greeted by a loving lady by the name of Lisa, she had an delightful personality and smile.She cut my hair even better than my previous hair dresser who has moved overseas.She listen attentively to what I had to say with a caring manner, unlike many.Well done express cuts on your hiring lisa sand I will return and she is a breathe of fresh air in your salon.
