The Sebel Noosa

I had to cancel our stay in March at The Sebel in Noosa because both my husband and I got COVID and felt unwell to travel. Our travel agent tried to get a credit so we could travel at another date, but the hotel staff were inflexible and we lost all the days we had booked. Very disappointing

I'm sure the stay in Feb 2022 would have been great if there hadn't been noisy renovations underway at the time. Not only was it very noisy with scaffolding put up and down outside our room every day. In addition, half the pool was shut off for the renovations, which with it already being a small space and very busy made it pretty much impossible to access as it was always too busy.If we had of been notified prior to booking that all these works were going to be undertaken during our short 6 night stay we would have booked elsewhere as it was the last thing we wanted after waiting to have a holiday for 2 years.

Scaffolding and stairway blocked to Hastings St even though signage said renocations would be completed end of Oct. Pre-paid 2 nights stay months ago and was mistakenly charged again.Advised reimbursement would take 3 weeks. Wouldn't book here again.

Prepaid breakfast and total rip off tea or coffee not even included. Had to pay extra. Only after booking they tell you they are renovating and jackhammering. Took 15 mins to find car park. No maps or help provided. Totally frustrating experience. Go somewhere else

We stay here all the time due to the ratings given. Very spacious rooms that are clean. The aircon is a welcome after being out in the sun all day.

I am writing this how disappointing it weas my experience during my stay at the hotel.Firstly, it is concerning that the front desk staff to be a real shocker. As the first point of contact for guests, it is important for staff to be welcoming, friendly and efficient in their duties. It is not the case at all.The constant noise from the adjacent building, which was not disclosed, is also an issue that can seriously impact the quality of a guest's stay. It is important for hotels to be transparent about any potential disruptions, and to take steps to minimize the impact on guests whenever possible.The lack of basic amenities such as body lotion and shampoo, as well as the heater not working, are also significant concerns. These are basic expectations that guests have, and failure to provide them can lead to frustration and discomfort.The presence of cockroaches in the kitchen is completely unacceptable and could pose a health risk to guests. It is imperative for hotels to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the property.Finally, the strict policy regarding late check-out is disappointing. While it is important for hotels to maintain a schedule, staff should also be accommodating and flexible whenever possible to ensure guests have a pleasant and stress-free stay.Overall, based on your that this hotel fell short in a number of key areas, and I would not recommend it to other travelers.

This venue is undergoing renovations, but staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly.Location is terrific ,pool area is lovely.Recommend if you can cope with the scaffolding it's a great spot to stay.

Booked a 2 Bedroom Pool View which was confirmed 6 months prior and my booking was then cancelled without any advice as when we tried to check in there was no advice of our booking despite confirmation and pre-payment.We were eventually allocated a Garden View which was actually a Scaffold view, also there was a terrible check in where I was asked to provide proof of payment from my bank account despite a confirmed booking receipt and patronizing staff were trying to do a deal after their mistakes as well.After checkout I found we were debited $150 without any advice or approval and I am still trying to get my money back, three weeks later, I have no idea what this relates too.At the exhobitant rate they charge there is much better value elsewhere, most dispointing Accor experience ever.Overall very poor management and compounding issues not being resolved have put us off recommending

Nice position on Hastings Street with its bars, restaurants and shopping.The apartments are a great size with a lounge/diner, small kitchenette area and a separate bedroom. There is also a washer and separate dryer housed in a cupboard, which we found very useful as we were half through round a month's tour and clothes needed freshening.Everywhere was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
