I’m not one to post a review but this really got me annoyed. Came in at 6pm when 4 other tables were waiting for food then it started getting busy. Me and my wife were waiting over an hour for our food and would probably still be waiting if we didn’t head to the counter. Ordered 3 mains and a jug of sangria having wanted to already leave after the over an hour wait for food, watching people arrive after us and leave with full stomachs before we even had anything to our table! The total came to $65 I told them there was a mistake so they put it up-to $90 and still no apology if you see any discrepancies in the bill and it puts you out of pocket don’t say anything because they don’t care about you! I was expecting some money off tbh! I was going to leave but I hate food waste so stuck around for the meal I didn’t enjoy because I didn’t want to enjoy it. Terrible customer service! Horrendous experience! Steering clear on my return visits!

Unfortunately the service was really slow. They needed 20 minutes until we could place our order. The we waited for the drinks and the meals 30 minutes after 30 minutes they came and told us they lost the note with our order. And we ordered again.As an excuse the brought us some Tortillas. And this was a really nice gesture which I really appreciate.Then we received our main dish. The starter was still missing. After we had finished with the main dish the starter arrived, but unfortunately it was the wrong one. As an excuse the wanted to give us some free drinks but we were finished.Maybe we were at the wrong time in the wrong place but if you order the second time because your order was lost, they should do everything that it goes right.They told us several times that they have a lot of work, but the restaurant wasn't full and there were a lot of waiters. Maybe they should try to organize their business another way.Too bad that everything went wrong because the food was really delicious.Ans I also appreciate their way to excuse but if you are hungry and you want to eat it's not too good...

Nice food but way to expensive. Took a while to get someone to take our order one we were ready and when we finally got our food the portions were quite small. Had a birthday cake organised but when we were ready for it they did not light the candles before bringing it out. They also didn't have any plates or spoons ready.

Amazing food! We had Chili con Queso with corn chips, beef burritos and BBQ ribs; followed by Churros with dark chocolate and caramel dips. Everything was very reasonably priced and was delivered super quickly! Everyone really enjoyed their food and we will definitely be ordering from Casa De Tequila again. The burritos were so good - full of tasty braised beef, rice, salad, guacamole and sour cream. Ribs were well cooked and fell off the bone. They came with coleslaw and chips. We especially loved the little bit of spice on the churros! So good to have a genuine Mexican option in Mount Gambier!

A great place in Mount Gambier. I had jalapeño poppers and corn followed by 2 chicken soft flour tacos. This was a very nice fresh meal for about $35 and I’m stuffed! Really nice staff and a fun drinks menu. Didn’t have dessert but they looked good.

Wanted to leave a review but for some reason isn't giving me the option but I wanted to say that my partner, myself and my 2yr old came for lunch on Monday and we were absolutely stunned by our meals. I got the beef quesadilla and my partner had the ribs and a margarita and I tell you what we were in love with the flavours of the food, the presentation of the food, the service EVERYTHING!! We are both chefs so very rarely find something that shocks us with our food and my partner was devastated that he couldn't go back the next day for a quesadilla as he fell In love with how tender and flavoursome the food was. People want to complain about prices but fail to see how much people charge all around for meals at other places that aren't actually worth it but we saw our money very well spent.
