Great food and excellent service. Finally a place who knows how to make a decent lemon lime and bitters.Quaint and welcoming feel. Staff were friendly and helpful.Well priced and they do lunch sized portions too which is a bonus.If you get a chance try the apple blueberry crumble it was divine.

Visited tonight for dinner. Ordered the “fish of the day” which was Crimson Snapper with 3 creamy garlic Prawns, Mash and steamed vegetables - $37. The Fish was so tough and resembled the leather sole of a shoe. The vegetables were very nice. I returned the 1 1/2 small fillets of fish to the kitchen with my complaint. I requested a partial refund as the fish was the most costly part of the meal. I spoke with who I believe was the female manager. I was told that no refund was possible as I had eaten part of the meal, which were the vegetables! This Manager then out of the goodness of her heart, offered me some chips or dessert to compensate me for the extremely poor quality fish I had paid $37 for. I explained I did not want chips and that was an insult to even compromise a $37 meal with $2 chips. I then asked for a credit to use at another time, but was told that was not possible. She suggested I could have something from the very limited (unless you want chips) starter menu. I chose the Yorkshire puddings filled with garlic mushrooms, cheese and green onions - sounded ok. I asked if I could have a side bowl of steamed vegetables, after all they were very nice! I was informed, no you will have to pay $6 more if you want them. Well the Yorkshire puddings came out, not a trace of Mushrooms in them, instead they were filled with pieces of Corned Silverside. Strangely the roast of the day was Corned Silverside, obviously had left overs so substituted the Mushroom filling with this. Overall very unhappy with the meal, the extremely rude and total lack of good Customer service experience given by the female Manager. My advice go elsewhere to eat!

Food is always excellent and good service. Bit dark inside but for pub food, best in the area and at good prices. Also like that you are offered 2 sizes of meals at lunchtime.

Waitress took my god before I had finished. I don't like it when people haven't finished but the waiter/ess takes everyone else's away. Why aren't they taught to leave all plates on the table to tie m the last have finished. It's not a takeaway shop...

Had the yummiest lunch! I had the small creamy seafood pot and OMG was absolutely delicious! Husband had a well done rump with vege, mash and peppercorn sauce! The vege were fresh and crisp and he says best peppercorn sauce! Great atmosphere and super friendly service! Will be back….and bring friends!!

Great wee tavern! We dined for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, it felt very similar to a pub in the UK. The lunch menu was varied, the food didn't take long at all and it was delicious! We had the lunch special Butter Chicken and Chicken Parmi. Great portion sizes, parking down nearby side streets, mens toilets on the same level, womens toilets are just up the stairs on the next level.

My meal was uneditable. The roast meat was like leather I could not chew it or bite...one small potato with carrot and pumpkin they were ok but for $27 I'd think it would of been much better. Looked like a relaxing place but sadly I won't go back.
