Unless you’re looking to get ripped off, I would not be going to Apaps.I took my car in that has been having issues reading the key. We dropped it off at 9:05 and received a call 40 minutes later to tell us they were finished and that all we needed was a new key. They used a scan tool which would have taken 15 minutes MAX and charged me $200. My partner is a qualified mechanic, he has spoken to other mechanics locally and has heard terrible things about these guys ripping people off and not finishing jobs properly while still charging ridiculous amounts.Usually when scanning a vehicle, the price of labour is included in the scanning fee, but I was charged $70 for a scan and an additional $130 an hours labour and the car was there for less than an hour. $200 for 15 minutes and “you need a new key”.Apaps clearly cares more about revenue than helping out members of their community. I wouldn’t recommend their services, or lack thereof, to anybody.

We were travelling on the road and stumbled across this place whilst researching Auto Electricians on Google (in Tully).We needed a circuit breaker to be replaced in our 12v battery set up in our Coaster motorhome. Danny (owner) squeezed us in as soon as we rocked up in the morning as he said the job shouldn’t be too difficult.He was right, within 15 mins Danny had our circuit breaker replaced and the bus up and running again. His prices are incredibly reasonable when other Auto Elecs over the phone priced us astronomical amounts. The staff behind the reception were also extremely friendly.Couldn’t recommend this place more! So much so we decided to stay in Tully longer just so we can get them to look at our AC (which they squeezed us in for tomorrow).

Prompt friendly service which was also great value in getting our Landcruisers air-conditioning working again before we drove back to Adelaide through the centre.Highly recommend these guys in Tully.

I took my caravan here for some work. they promptly diagnosed the problem and while on the job spotted another problem with the tail lights. They went out of their way to ensure I was safely on the road again at a very reasonable cost. Great customer service and they explained everything clearly. Would I use them again, you don't need to ask.
