Very nice place. .a bit of noise from trucks going by. Couldn't fine the toilets+ tables until we left. Tucked up in one corner and no signs. Need then both ends of camp would make it a lot better .

Nice campsite with Latrine. Campground is just above running water with plenty of space. The river sounds are nice but the whirring from the road detracts from the experience.

There is a river next to campsite, which is so clear and can meet your all needs from drinking water to taking bath

I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve been here, one of my favorite spots of all time; Perfect halfway/overnight stay if you’re traveling Sydney to Armidale; Located literally just off the road which turns most people away; Absolutely no phone reception, usually no people too; Few logging trucks during the day but apart from that, complete bliss; River flows well in winter with fish, yabbies and platypus to be found if you’ve got a keen eye; Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of running water.Closest alternative is Bretti Reserve about 15km further along but thats usually buzzing with Nomads and their generators….

Must book, great location, bins on site, toilet, all cammping next to the river 800m worth. Near a road 60m away but quite at night.no firewood around or drinking water.great bush cammping site, no 4wd needed.

Lovely reserve by the side of a stream. It was a welcome respite from today’s heat. No toilets and not marked, so easily missed.

Be mindful of red belly black snakes around. One was a little too close for comfort!
