The Salvation Army Employment Plus

The Salvation Army does remarkable work and I have the highest respect and love for their work.But I truly believe this place does not reflect the army's heart to serve and help. Staff were very condescending and were at most times very very rude. I walked out most times feeling Depressed and deflated and I had no help with finding employment other then being told how to write a resume. I was told in a rude manner that Living of the dole is not a job". Of Course it's not! I know that! That's why I'm working so hard to find work. Don't make it any worse by guilt tripping people who genuinely are pulling their hair out and doing their best.Don't let this place put you off from the great work the Army does though! Just don't go through this particular place at Goodna."

Most of the staff are friendly although some can be brash and rude they also seem to be running behind a lot so be prepared to wait a additional 15-20 mins after your appointment time before you get seen

Kellie is very rude. Offered me a work and when I said I had to get a sitter she got very rude and a condescending attitude. Krystal and Nathan have ALWAYS been very nice so if you enroll there try to stay away from Kellie. I actually find it very offensive that she can get attitude with people when she has only been there for a few months herself

So disappointing! They ‘exited’ from the program as a “full time employee” when I didn’t even have work. When I asked for assistance to get work I was told that I had work (when I didn’t). Centrelink was very quick to reverse the “exit”. They said they’ve had instances of providers ‘exiting’ jobseekers so they can get their funding. Go to a different provider if you want assistance!

Always have great interactions with the staff. They are delightfully helpful to everyone they come in contact with. They have such a positive impact on the world! :D

4 workers were in view present at the office with no people with them, waited over 15 mins before my young person got up and walked over to 3 is the workers asking for help to print his resume they had on file which one of the workers did. I don’t know why he couldn’t approach us and ask us if we needed any help if he could do it when he was asked too. No customer service at all! Just staff walking passed us like they can’t see us! And when they finally came to help the woman didn’t listen to anything we said which made everything take longer then it should of! Go else where!

They never answer there phone always on hold for hours rudest laziest people but when u go in there always walking round talking like there on vacation have never helped me once the whole time iv been with them but always quick to say they'll cut ur payments off place is a joke as everyone that works for this place is a joke nothing good to say about this place theses are toxic people have no understanding of anything all contradict each other
