Community Health for Adolescents In Need
two years ago the people who worked at chain were the most helpful and caring workers, constantly understanding and always doing more than the bare minimum to help out people who use this service - people in need. Over the past year of going to chain after using this service for 4 years I’ve never felt more under appreciated and less cared for than now. I think new training is necessary, all the new workers I’ve met lately have treated this place as simply a job and don’t seem to care at all for the people in need who come here and have been accessing this service for years. People who work at Chain and SYPHS should carry some empathy, and do more than simply answering questions and belittling the people who come here. You are a service that is supposed to look out for people in need, not just be another place where people are discriminated and treated like an exhaustion of your time.I miss Heather. We all do. Props to Barbara, Olivia, Katie and Eileen, you are the glue holding this place together and holding most of us back from tears.

Absolutely exceptional support and services. They have been a lifesaver for me in more ways than one. Highly dedicated, professional and helpful staff, the entire organisation is as good as anyone could hope for. They offer so much more than just nice free meals and food.I was struggling and living on the streets 9 weeks ago.Since then Coast Shelter have provided me with safe, secure, clean and affordable medium term emergency accommodation (self-contained bedsitter), not only that -thanks to their dedication, commitment and years of experience I have now been approved for priority social housing to set me up for the future. I cannot thank them enough.A huge thankyou to Peter, Josh and Jesse for making all of this possible. They are quite amazing at what they do! None of this would have happened without their selfless dedication, commitment & expertise. And also many thanks to Grant, Coast Shelter's highly skilled in-house counsellor. His guidance and support has proven to be invaluable.Coast Shelter are my Rock. 9 weeks ago I had lost all hope. Now my life is back on track and the future is looking bright.5 Stars from me is an understatement. I would give 100 Stars if it was possible!!!:)

Have tried speaking to “team leader” even put up a review, these people don’t care about anything other than getting their money. Michelle Duncan - useless team leaderColleen Sweeney - literally does nothing, no contact since accusing of negligence and talking to manager, this was over 1 year agoEnough is enough, they’re not using the funding they’re apparently getting so willing be reported to proper agencies
