Anchor Community Care

I tried ask help for housing as in living in a caravan and anex with 4 children and a partner and they said ooo well you have a roof over your head nice attitude know where to help from next not this organisation one star from me.

Have tried speaking to “team leader” even put up a review, these people don’t care about anything other than getting their money. Michelle Duncan - useless team leaderColleen Sweeney - literally does nothing, no contact since accusing of negligence and talking to manager, this was over 1 year agoEnough is enough, they’re not using the funding they’re apparently getting so willing be reported to proper agencies

Only called to ask a couple quick questions I had for a school assessment. I spoke to Peter who clearly had no time for me, instead of telling me he didn't want to assist me, he acted in a rude and condescending way. Working at an organisation that deals with vulnerable people, it should be a requirement to have some compassion. If I were a homeless person looking for support I would have hang up right away.

Anchor do a great job providing support for locals needing help with housing. The staff are knowledgeable, patient, helpful and always working to find the best way to support their clients. Also a great service to go out to Healesville, Yarra Junction and Warburton for those that can't get to Lilydale.

I really loved the environment, team culture and supportive management. It was a long held dream to work with Anchor, I have been hearing of your positive reputation for years and now I have witnessed first-hand one of the top human service organizations. I was impressed by the chain of command structure, the respect shown to employees and the IT capabilities. The office is such a calming environment.May God Bless you all,Gemechu

Only heard from them when they were telling me I had to leave accom with no notice, more than once, which turned out to be untrue on most occasions. No idea about the Vic housing system, legislation about Housing, nor do they care. You're just a number, which enables them to get funding. End of story.

If you want a company that will sign you up just to get a cheque then drop you then this is the one. Over 2 years with them making promises, none of which have been kept, constantly waiting months for contact, worker was supposed to contact after being accused of negligence, of course argued that then 1 month later is apparently on annual leave. Disgusting company in breach of so many laws yet completely unwilling to actually fix anything.Edit: over a year later, spoke to Michelle Duncan, an apparent “team leader” quite a few times, latest time told me she’d atleast talk to housing agent, apparently couldn’t do that, called a few weeks after asking and apparently she was on leave so was offered an appointment with someone higher up and was assured that of course they’d actually meet that appointment, nope, so obviously these issues go well above the simple workers here, seems everyone is useless, what exactly are you paid to do?Edit:Called again today, got hung up on because I dared ask Colleen Sweeney why she hasn’t done a single thing, proves my point about this place perfectly xD

You put people in dumps like the lilydale motor inn, well aware of what its like. It would be safer under bridge. LIFT YOUR GAME.!!!!!!!!!

After talking with my Mum sounds like they have not really helped her they dont support her they closed her case even though she is not in a perminate house really disappointing as she has been a transitional for 10 years and im really worried as she should be in a better suited house before she ends up in a wheelchair unable to do anything
