Warr Park Playground
We take our Westie for a walk at this park almost everyday. Great during the daylight hours. The only negative is the rubbish and the empty bottles of booze we encounter - obviously remnants from the nocturnal creatures of the night. Clean up your mess! Otherwise a great park for children and adults. Three playground structures and BBQ facilities.

Swim Beach Park
Nice park to sit and chill out, there's a playground for kids and a toilet too probably the easiest place to access the river for a swim.

Hampton Park Skatepark
Decent park. Small but not too small. There's glass/rocks/rubbish over the park which is a bit annoying.

Virginius Reserve
It's a decent suburban park for young kids, play equipment is pretty standard (swings, slippery dips, monkey bars) although there is also a kids rock climbing board. There's also a small bike track and a few gazebo's. There is some resistance exercise equipment but even being only slightly fit means the equipment is too easy to get anything out of it. A small pond where you can feed ducks is about 50m from the playground
