Huge selection of timber slabs, awesome and knowledgeable staff. Needed a specific length slab for a project and the blokes cut a slab to length to help me out. Definitely coming back again for my next project.

Left this shop with 2 light shades, and arm chair and a basket. All incredibly funky, well priced and Ian was great to have a laugh and chat with. Will definitely be back.

Disgraceful customer service. Went in to look for outdoor settings, was going to bring my partner back, Rosa sold me me some cushions and specifically said she would have one made for me with white piping to match, so I of course agreed thinking what a great service. 4 weeks passes, I went in and asked for an estimated time, told should be another week two at most, 3 weeks passes, went back in store thinking well it’s Christmas maybe they forgot to call... was told ohh it could be anytime in the next 12 months we can’t tell you a date... I said well I hope not I ordered in November of which I was told ohh I’m sure it will be here soon then. We’ll call you. So I waited... on the 7th of Feb - 3 months after ordering I was excited to get a phone call. Went in store to collect my remaining cushion... no white piping. It was identical to the ones they had in store... I said ohh that’s not my cushion I ordered it with white piping - no you didn’t!!! Ummm!!!! Yes I did, you have these in store why would I order something you can buy off the shelf, I’ve waited weeks for this. Well I can maybe get you one express, but it will be a couple of weeks!!!! I asked why I wasn’t given that option in the first place and the response was well you ordered a whole cushion not just a cover... and I said but it’s still wrong. She said oh well it’s not written on the order white piping. I said I’d like to speak to a manager or get details of a manager as this wasn’t good enough and I got back - well I’m the operations manager you can’t get higher than me.... Needless to say I got my money back and I will be ensuring everyone I know does not shop there. Thank god we didn’t buy an outdoor setting too. Appalling, they did not care at all. Get rid of your horrid operations manager and train your staff on ordering properly and customer service. Never again.

As a novice woodworker, I was definitely a bit unsure as to the best way to get started. I was lucky enough to get a spot in one of Stu's Intro to Woodworking classes at his Brisbane workshop and I cannot speak highly enough of his skills and guidance in helping me through all of the steps.The woodworking class started with an introduction to various timbers, Stu guided me through the timber selection process for my hallway table, through to the correct selection and use of tools and the structured plan from design, through to cutting, glueing and finishing, to make sure the finished hallway table was really high quality. I'm extremely happy with the finished product and strongly recommend anyone who is interested in starting woodwork or looking to further hone their craft to talk to Stu and Daniele at Bywater Design - I think I might be eyeing off the wooden surfboard class next!

Recently purchased a dining table + chairs and outdoor setting from G&D home. The furniture is of exceptional quality - stunning solid wood - and such amazing value. Any large chain furniture store would charge 3x (at least!) for the quality and service you receive here. Delivery by Tzion was timely, seamless and absolutely perfect! Thank you for such beautiful furniture, I am looking forward to becoming a long term customer.

We purchased a very large water feature, It was almost impossible to choose from there amazing range. We had two men deliver it that afternoon and when unboxing it, one piece was broken. Not to worry though, I sent some pictures and they had a replacement first thing the next morning. There service was great and I’m looking forward to heading back there for more!We’ve waited years to find a water feature that we love and thank you guys so much!
