Hassle free hire

Be very careful if you are planning on hiring from this company. They provided equipment that failed, they bodged a repair clamping a cable rather than replacing it. When the equipment failed a second time it caused injury that resulted in hospitalisation. Gary Henderson was rude to the extreme and after initially being apologetic he refused to rent to us again when I asked for his assurance that the repair had been done properly this time. He refused to provide a full refund for the equipment that failed and was very rude to both my wife and myself. His partner Danny is a really nice bloke and couldn't have been more helpful but Gary Henderson is rude and arrogant.

Do not use this service. Money is demanded upfront and the standard of work is absolutely atrocious. My parents paid over $1000 to have a yacht fuel tank decontaminated and the fuel polished, only to find on first use after the service that the contamination was far worse. Upon being told of this outcome, the owner Frans Carinus refused point blank to rectify the situation unless a large additional sum of money was paid. A totally unprofessional outfit. Friendly and efficient. Thanks for coming to our rescue when our boat trailer wheel broke on our way down south. Our problem was fixed by a friendly young man and within an hour we were on our way again.

We got the discovery 13X. Great to tow, very comfortable king bed, easy to set up (after you’ve done it once or twice!) I can actually do it on my own and I have physical disabilities!Was given a quick run down of how to do things, of. Purse forgot half of them!A few minor issues… door window has nothing on it! No roller, curtain or tint. (Sorry camping neighbours, I didn’t realise you could see in!) very cheap and nasty looking plastic thing to get to door handle on door of fly wire, which can not be locked as you can just push the plastic across. Basically not happy at all with the door.A main switch is at foot of bed, every time we got out of bed our calf would switch everything off. (If it has to be there, a cover would be handy) solar battery doesn’t seem to be very big. Blockout blinds on back window got crushed from pillows, they are like tracing paper.
