I called the Glebe fire department to ask about a neighbours (who were not home) smoke detector that had been going off for a long time, and the man that I spoke to was incredibly helpful. He asked me all the right questions to get to the bottom of what it could have been to set it off and told me what I should do next. Thank you for being able to assess the situation so well so you guys didn't have to make the trip out! Also for putting my mind at ease. Good job guys!(From Tahnee)

I would like to thank the guys on shift this morning from Orange fire brigade who helped get my white cockatoo down from the tree across the road. It was a little drenched after the hosing but she was so pleased to be inside in the warmth. I couldn't be happier to have her back home. Job well done guys!!

Definitely a historic landmark and wonderful piece of architecture. We were lucky enough to see inside and get a vision of the past. I've always had enormous respect for firemen and the dangerous work they do, unfortunately there is a connection with past pedofelia cases (acknowledgement on plaque outside )
