I'm not new to the area. My aunt has lived in Beachmere for over thirty years. What I am quite surprised at coming from Noosa originally, and moving down to Brisbane, before coming back here, is the prices.It's an old fashioned fish and chips shop with old fashioned prices. You can get a feed for not much more than $10. The fish is fresh. I'm not sure how the prices are so low, other than the facts that the rent probably hasn't gone up in years.$2 worth of chips will still actually get you a proper feed... Add a piece of river fish such as a cod for $8 and you have yourself a cheap feed.

Yet another good Fish n chippery in Qld! Cod n chips very nice and good value for money, quick service as it wasn't very busy, (Monday morning 10am) good parking in the shopping centre car park, shaded clean outdoor eating area

Do yourself a favour - man those burgers are humongous and bloody delish and the chips were cooked to perfection. You have definitely earned our custom - we will be back!

Very disappointed. Cold soggy fish and chips. Ordered early by phone for pickup at 7pm. Arrived promptly at 7 pm to find that our order had been placed in the hot box. It wasn't hot and the fish was so soggy that the crumb was falling off.

Beachmere takeaway was closed and I prefer to go there so I bit the bullet and went to L&D and ordered chips and potato scallops and the chips were bland and horrible and the potato scallops were crucified and burned the food was just straight horrible and I will never go there again

Im new to Beachmere, thank you to the crew. food was awesome, crew was under the pump as they were very busy. but still got my food out in a timely manner, and it was beautifully cooked, even got real dory!so ill be seeing you guys again! thank you
