Ordered over the phone. The lady taking the order came across as if we were inconveniencing her or something, she wasn’t rude or anything, however it was a little off-putting.The food was quite nice though. Very saucy and flavourful. The meat was cooked beautifully.I do recommend the food from here if you’re considering trying it.

Food wasn't bad. However, thehe quantity of the salad for $3:50 was scant. But my major complaint would be the non-existent clear up of tables after the customers had finished. It was quite unusual to walk into a restaurant with 3 tables out of 8 that were not cleaned and cleared after the customers had left.

Possibly one of the worst service experiences i've seen in a restaurant. Entire place was empty on Friday night (should have been a clue) - Not one other customer dined in while we were there. Getting the waitress to serve us through an entire meal was like pulling teeth. 20 minutes to take our order. Drinks from the fridge were barely cold. We BYO'd wine and beer - had to drink wine from water glasses as they never provided wine glasses. Food took more than 30 mins to be served despite empty restaurant. After being left to our own devices for the best part of an hour - we had to go into the kitchen to ask for them to clear the table. No one came back. We cleared the table ourselves and took the plates back to the kitchen - Staff didn't seem to have any care or shame whatsoever about their lack of service. Food was average to OK - but not worth it for the terrible service. We were visitors to Bathurst, I think the rest of Bathurst locals have probably already worked out why you don't go to this place.

This is the best indian in Bathurst hands down, just trust me. The service is fantastic, the dishes we had were so fresh, aromatic and flavourful. I can’t wait to go back!!!

The worst Indian food ever I found when asked to managment they replied local community doesn't like spicy then I asked them KFC TACOS MECD SUSHI THAI FOODS ARE serving same in every country then why are you changing Indian foods I think these type of restaurants are traitors not serving authentic food

Slow service, I waited for 50 minutes to get my main dish, please notice the small potion, it's around $18 each. The waitress is a nice lady, but has poor customer service. No music at all, which makes me feel a bit awkward while having dinner with friends. Anyway don't go there if you want to have a quick meal.

While i had probably worst stay experience at Mantra Bathurst, Saffron made our trip very good.1. Great service and staff.2. Cooked best food out of limited resources( whole Bathurst was out of gas, all restaurants were closed, but these guys had a plan to serve! And quality was very good) .Really recommend this place and have the business grow.
