One of the best meat pies in the last 10 years. Walked in bit of a a que, not many pies in the warme ,then the staff member brought a tray out from the back, OMG. This crust, beef, mushroom and gravy. The pie from my childhood. Home cooking in the country well done.

Went in 25 mins before closing and asked what pies were left. The lady looked like I'd just killed her cat, I have no idea what I did wrong, maybe they just don't like tourists.Got a plain pie, whilst the flavour of the filling was good and the pastry was flaky, the pastry was also way too thin, it ruins the whole structural integrity of a hand pie. If you're thinking about eating this in the car, then think again, it was a drippy, smooshed, falling apart mess.

Regretfully this was the worst coffee in my 14 months of travel around Australia. I was pleased they were opened on a Sunday but that was where the good news ended. Only left over pies and a few cakes left. Possibly UHT milk used which tasted like condensed milk.

Read rave reviews about the Steak and Mushroom Pie. Boy was I disappointed, little to no gravy, heaps of dry chunks of steak and dry hard pieces of mushroom but little to no mushroom flavour. Pastry was really nice but that's no consolation. Bought a Kitchener bun to eat later, hopes aren't high. For a more detailed review please feel free to pop over to @bogan_pie_reviews on insta. Came back to talk about the Kitchener bun. Was weird, heaps of over sweet Chantilly cream one small dot of jam on top of the cream, , the body of the bun was shrivelled, the whole thing came wrapped in cling film. Wasn't horrible. But also not like any Kitchener bun I've come across.

This is not a drill: I just had the BEST snitty burger I have ever had in my entire life. Make sure you get it “with the lot” and it will blow ya socks off. It’s something to do with the cheese we decided in a lengthy discussing on why it’s so good. Thanks guys

Took the kids down to Cowell for the day. Went to the waterpark and had the bakery for lunch. The service was amazing 10/10. Food was fantastic 9/10. Definitely going to be a repeat when we're back out this way.

No chicken or spinach products at all. Could get lunch for colleagues who eat red meat, but not for me. Staff not very friendly at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return next trip to Port Lincoln.
