Amazing turnaround service. Purchased a suit at M.J. Bale and 15mins later Unique Alterations took my trousers to turn them up. They only wanted $10 for 30 min turnaround. Hard working team and really appreciated the 30 minute turnaround service at such short notice. If you need a tailor and in the area don’t hesitate to ask them for help.

Wanted Alteration On Jeans From Overseas That Were 1 Size Too Big , Only On The Waste Area , I Had Been To 3 Other Places And Was Told 1 It Cant Be Done There Is Not Enough Lining , 2 Was Told Cant Be Done Because It Will , Cause Pants To Tighten At Buttock Area Being Uncomfortable ,3 And Cant Be Done As It Might Cause Pockets To Close Together In The Middle Lining ! Amazing place. Needed to get pants and shirt altered and my suit jacket and was amazed by the quality and timeliness of the service. You just gotta be patient sometimes with them as they do get pretty busy.My other experience with them they were able to fix my shirts and have them delivered to my place as well!!

Paul provided such nice customer service. I went to his store for the first time in desperate need of getting a dress altered for an event that was on 2 days later after being told by a previous alterations store that the job was too difficult. Paul provided me with great confidence that he would have the dress altered in time for me and he definitely succeeded. The dress fit perfectly!! Thank you Paul would highly recommend you and will definitely be using your services in future!!

When I approached the store, I was immediately greeted and asked what I needed, which considering how busy the place seemed, was great. I had two dresses that were delivered in 3 sizes too big, but as they didn't accept returns, I decided to try this business.The owner was very accommodating and explained where he would make the adjustments, he also ensured that I was comfortable the whole time as I tried on the dresses to show him where it needed to be altered. I also explained that it would be fantastic for the dresses to be a little more flattering to my figure, which was accommodated.I asked for another request, which was to add pockets as it would take the comfort of my garments to another level, also the dress was not structured to originally have pockets, but the team made it work.The prices are a little steep and they only accept cash (hence 4 stars), but I paid for a service that I could not do myself (I had tried previously), and it was completed in three days. Will definitely return should I require the services again.

Worst alterations. Just went to pick up my trousers from being shortened and they could not find them. The lady then asked me to search for them in the back and I searched every single rack. The place was a mess. After 1 hour she found them and they were not even altered. I had to come back after 15 mins to get it done. To make matters worse they didn’t even offer me a refund, I had to ask and then they did.Poor customer service and will not recommend.

Brought 2 dresses in for alterations. One was a ball gown which the front of the dress needed to be taken up. No alteration to back of dress as it has a train. Second dress the bodice had to be taken in at the zip, so from neckline to waist. When I asked how much they quoted me $430. I told them I would not pay that ridiculous amount and when I asked for the dresses back they refused to hand them back to me. The lady then told me she would call her boss who was in the centre somewhere to get a better price. They then reduced the cost to $250 which to me was still way too much. Do yourself a favour and take your garments elsewhere. Even when picking up the dresses yesterday they had trouble finding them and there was another lady in the shop waiting for over half an hour because they couldn't find her garments either. Also had to pay for alterations beforehand and they only accept cash. I would love to report this place and am looking into whether there is a place I can.

I had 1 shirt that was supposed to be ready for pick up on Friday just for dry cleaning. Went 3 times that day and it wasn't there to be told at 5pm it's still not there and they will deliver it same day. Nothing arrived.

Overpriced dry cleaning. $40 a suit. We normally pay $15 or so at Kingsgrove. We were told it would be a week. Had to push to have it done in 3 days ready for a funeral.

I had a $350 dress altered here. Do not even bother. I paid an alarming $60 for my dress to basically be ruined. I gave them my garment on Tuesday and said I needed it by Saturday as my event was on Sunday. I went to pick up the garment on the Saturday and the lady told me to come back in an hour. So they had not touched my dress in 4 days. Not only did they alter the dress very badly, they took the boning out and then put it back in a place where it now digs into my waist so it looks worse than before I had it altered. I told the lady that they made it small in a place we had not discussed and she proceeded to tell me she didn’t touch that area when clearly she had as it wasn’t sewn back properly. She then went out the back and sewed it together quickly. What a waste of money and completely unprofessional service. My event is tomorrow and now the dress is too small where it was fine before. So annoyed as it wasn’t a cheap dress. I would never return here, they are overpriced and don’t do a good job.
