Coles Green Hills

As usual Coles was clean and the checkout chap was pleasant. Some of the shelves are noticeably short of stock. No Coles own mango juice. Used to be called mango nectar. Coles say prices are down but not down to pre COVID prices.

This is the second time I've had a very bad experience at Coles (Greenhill) with the same staff her name is Jaimes. She looks like a 40 year old woman. I bought 3 gift cards but the machine requires their staff to verify and scan their employee card. I politely smiled and asked her for help, she came to help with a bored face and took my gift card away. I didn't know what she was doing with the card, so I watched her and she said in a bad tone, You can pay now!" After she wrote the expired date and reluctantly threw my gift card on the machine. I asked loudly "excuse me!?" She ignored me and went to serve another customer but served with a smile. Later I realized I was being treated differently and that this was the legendary discrimination. I agree the lady who received a discrimination and give a feedback said "Just wondering don’t Coles suppose to train their staff to be professional to serve ALL customers?". I just had to pay for my gift card why should I be treated like this?"

Twice in a week I've bought a pack of pre made wraps past their use by date. They weren't even on markdown I paid full price. They smelled rancid once taken out of the packet and aren't edible. Hopefully extra care or food safety training can be provided before anyone gets food poisoning. A child wouldn't be able to know it's off...

Ordered a click amd collect, couldn't find it, found it, called and told them I was there waited 20 mins for staff to come out with the wrong order, then waited another 10 or so for them to come back with my order then the package of water broke leaving me to gather them whilst saying sorry I'll go get more for you but you know I'd rather look like an idiot picking the 24 pack of water up than wait another 20 minutes for staff to come back.

Last several visits their freezer section has been 90% empty.

Shopped today 31 May 2023 at 14.52 served by TanyaShe made an unprofessional comment in regard covid safety, she is obviously not at the right place working as a check-out employee as her comment was we have to get on with live and not carry on about Covid:"

Worst delicatessen staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to shop with . Staff rude , never want to serve u have even had one go out back when I rolled up . Took forever come back . Only ever 1 staff on morning’s but no matter who is on they can ruin your day . Take ham , salami Frankfurts home they off next day . They not doing their job right in any way . Go Woolies so happy eager to help always bout 4-5 . Food last week at home .

Forget about ordering online they keep stuffing your orders up or giving them to others or you go to collect and it’s a totally different order someone else has ordered but you get given instead of your own. Fair enough if it’s once or twice we all make mistakes but constantly is beyond the joke!

I'm very disappointed that your Greenhills NSW store has removed checkouts in place of self serves. I don't work at Coles, I don't get paid (or a discount) for checking items out myself.What exactly prompts you to think customer want this? This is a bad customer experience, no customer says to themselves I would rather do the work myself".I wont be shopping at your stores that have implemented this non-customer feedback focused strategy
