Park was in a great spot and was nice and clean. Water park was great for kids but was a little too cold to use. The ensuite and matting could do with a renovation however it didn't affect our stay. Town itself was not our favourite but the location of the park made up for it.

Great spot for our van. We could have taken an ensuite site but opted for a waterfront view. It is just of a large lake, but it is quite serene. You can use it for swimming or SUP activities, and there is a pontoon in the middle if you want to swim out and sunbake (you would have to share with the family of pelicans that take up residence there every afternoon for a nap...). Right behind the lagoon is a rockwall and path, and behind that is the ocean and inlet, the sounds of which easily make it to the park. This makes for a very sound sleep, with the rolling of the waves gently sender you off to slumber.Most sites have either concrete or matting so very stable and clean.The amenities block is great too, very clean, and very large.Town is a short drive up a somewhat steep road, but nothing challenging - people get their caravans down there easily, so it wont be a problem.We also had lunch at the cafe on site, and the food was great with very reasonable prices.This park is great and you wont be disappointed if you stay here. If you are happy with the sound of the ocean, you have to get a site on the lagoon.

Decapitated cabins. Smelled terrible inside, especially the couch. Bathroom so tiny you have to slide in sideways. Bed was comfortable. Nice seating on balcony overlooking the lake. Beautiful views of the ocean just steps away from our cabin.

Great location, clean and comfy cabin with full kitchen and lounge. Has a tavern on site but didn't visit. Good sized pool and great shallow areas for kids at the beaches.Get up early to watch the sun rise at the beach at the end of the sea wall walk - it was stunning.

Very cold and really really small budget cabin no insulation because of noise restrictions didn't know you still could have the aircon on during the night so froze. Really hard to get out of bed because no room to stand curtains didn't block light. Appliances and furniture cheap and nasty. Don't waste your money!!

We stayed on a waterfront site with our caravan. It was so peaceful and so nice to wake up to everyday. Our site was spacious and clean. We spent most of our days fishing (we caught a few!) and walking around the break wall and beaches. Its also a short walk to the local shops for groceries. Staff were always welcoming when we needed anything and friendly. Highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Exceptionally friendly staff and easy checkin. Cabin very clean. Great location. V wall tavern on site was excellent value for meals and drinks. Would recommend staying here.

Loved this caravan park, one of the best we have been too. Note: we only had a site. Ammenities were clean and big, beach was only a walking away. Just beautiful landscape and nice that the park was fenced off by natural boundaries. Heaps of space on the sites. Dog friendly, with lots of dogs present but none were barking or an issue. Quiet in the night. Do also check out the V-wall restaurant and cafe, it’s so good. We had the local fish in the restaurant and cannot go past it. Absolutely loved our stay. The ONLY downside may be some of the permanent “locals” who have a permanent cabin on site.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful maintained holiday park at Nambucca Heads. We were travelling with our dog and so one of the main reasons we chose to stay was that it was pet friendly BUT so much more - very comfortable and beautifully decorated cabin, stunning views of the river, inlet and the sea - friendly staff - amazing meals and drinks at the V-Wall Pavillion and breakfast at the cafe. Would also recommend the Wharf St Cafe -located right on the Nambucca River. We have already planned our next trip and will check out the Island Restaurant and Good Time Charlies. And will once again enjoy the lovely walks along the v-wall to view the grafitti artwork, and the estuary trail.

Location and service are fabulous in this holiday park. Dog friendly is a bonus too and the pricing is very reasonable. Rooms/cabins are a little tired - need some love (that is why I rated it a 4/5). Will still come back.
