Boundary Bend General Store & Caravan Park

NO ! Do not stay here, Cabins have no toilet or shower or hot water or Tv antenna just a-dead screen, water can’t be drank, said bottle water in cabin free, but none, no milk for coffee, crockery dirty, no privacy from to small blinds …I don’t know where to end, just drive past!

Well the 90 dollar room has no air con. Moved rooms to the 70 dollar room and tv does not work.. 3rd time lucky.. bloody hell everything works.Indain staff not helpful at all..this place was great two years ago on my last stay

When I booked a site I noticed the store has recently been renovated, however the park is very dated and generally looks unloved. I was told to take the first left and go anywhere in the park I liked. Fair enough, I think we were the only campers there. The toilet block is up near the store which is a long way from the furtherest sites. The ablution block is old, but functional and clean. The place looks more like a workers camp than a tourist park. The Murray River is right across the road, if you are keen to wet a line. Check out my photos.

Staff where very nice and helpful, quiet, cheap, close to the river, amenities dated but clean. Perfect for a stop over when your traveling, also pet friendly :)

Actually i always stop here on the way thru. Grog is a bit pricey as one would expect but our snacks are always nice including the pies and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I had food twice and both times I had stomach issues. Really lack of hygiene. The lady touched her nose and then the food..

I used to keep van on site but new owners priced me out. It was a great place to weekend or long holiday with some nice enough older folk retired there. Boat ramp 200 meters away or huge sandbar 400 meters upstream. Great for swimming off the sandbar and camping there is okay too.If you want Take Away food it is cooked in clean and tidy kitchen. The Hamburger with the Lot is as good as anywhere you will find 10 bucks. Bottle shop is close for a beer or two in the shade or in the Tinny listening to the Cricket(my favourite). I suggest with bloody carp back in the river oversized hooks with bardy grubs tied to the hook with cotton if your chasing Murray Cod or smaller hooks with worms for catching anything just for fun. Remember that Carp cannot be thrown back in the river whether they're DEAD or ALIVE. Boundary Bend is far enough away that its never over ran and a great place to recharge yourself. Drought years are even better.

Paid $40 for overnight stay. Hooked up power and water. Wondered why water was dark brown. Was then told oh don't use water it's river water. So luckily had a new water filter. Had to throw that one in the bin because so much mud blocked it. $50 Later left. So $90 per night

It's a cool little spot to stop by the river if you're traveling in from Mildura.You can get a bite to eat, top up the fuel tanks, get a treat from the bottle shop and relax!
