99 Bikes Maribyrnong

I am new to riding, and quite clueless in regards to bike maintenance and determining what I “need” in order to care for my bike and improve my riding experience. The staff at 99 Bikes have been fantastic at fielding my dumb questions and ensuring that my bike is safe to go. Special shout-out to Andrew for his patience and guidance - I’m completely loving my new handlebars, pedals and gloves!!!

I’ve had great service the 3 times I’ve been in store in the past 6 weeks, this store really does live up to their most approachable bike store claim. I was new to bike riding when I walked in and have been helped so much along the way.Shout out to Jackson who first helped me when I brought a very old irreparable bike in and then swiftly gave me options to get a new bike, and River for setting it all up within my budget. They were both super friendly and knowledgable and I definitely felt that they were just keen to have me safely riding a bike fit for my purpose rather than just selling me a bike - the service was above my expectation.I later went to the bike maintenance course and Jackson was again very patient and a great instructor too, similar great experience with my bike tune up.

Bought my new bike from the Maribyrnong store yesterday. Great service, very nice staff, all very courteous and understanding. Thanks particularly to River for taking care of my purchase from start to finish.As it turns out, the bike I bought has a reach that’s a little long for me, so I’m hoping the store can help me out with a different stem.

Peter was a great salesman, informative and went out of his way to please. Showed me mountain bikes within my budget (well maybe just over) and the type and style that best suits, he even searched other stores and the warehouse for the colour and size - thanks again for the great service, looking forward to collection next week

Staff members are friendly, focused to customer needs and aim at delivering best possible customer satisfaction. Well resourced store is a plus. Even after experiencing a stagnant situation with an order, its a five start with appreciation to two good men River & Tedd for outstanding sincere assistance. Happy rider Speeder 20.

Had to exchange a helmet as one I had bought originally was not suitable… staff made it very easy to undertake… also very good prices

Great staff, great service and very friendly.99 bikes is the best bicycle shop I have dealt with both in Bayswater and Maribyrnong. The staff are very knwledgeable.

This review is for my 2 visits back in December 2021 (sorry for delayed review). Can't remember the staff members name but a Asian gentlemen in the service department looked after me quite well. Promptly, expertly told me which parts I needed to get my bike up and running again. The service itself was done very good and on time. Bike still works like new almost one year after the service.My other visit a few weeks later was shopping for anew helmet. Another staff member provided friendly, patient service as I tried on a million different helmets. I've been to a few 99 bikes stores around Melbourne and the Highpoint one is the best one. Great staff and great vibes inside the store. You feel like you're walking into a friend's garage or something and are free to roam.
