Sydney Tools Fyshwick

Took my Makita blower vac in for repairs today at 11am. Got a call at 12 noon letting me know it was fixed and ready for collection. Despite not covered by warranty they fixed it for free. Staff were excellent and they are highly recommended.

Store was a mess not just stock badly on shelves but rubbish strewn about on the floor as well as on some of the shelves.Several display stock items were damaged in the tool cabinet section. Specific areas designated to brands were encroached on by competitors stock.No interest shown by staff when there were 3-4 staff members I saw and less than half a dozen people moving about in store.Trade counter was seemingly off limits with stock items blocking it on all sides.Made it feel like I'd walked in on someone moving house and they'd literally started unpacking. Walked out unsatisfied and money still in my pocket..

Drove several hours to pick up an item for a job and the staff reassured me they had in stock and had put aside. When I got there nothing had been put aside and the staff could not be bothered helping me out. Terrible customer service and I’ll be changing tool stores, for the thousands we spend each month on tools this is unacceptable to be lied to, waste my time and money on fuel and no fks given when they realised they stuffed up.

A great store with exceptional service. I went into the store without an exact idea of what tools I needed but I knew the job I needed to do. Thanks to the expertise of the Sydney Tools staff and the great range of tools, I got exactly what I needed and couldn’t been happier with the result of my DIY renovations... thanks Sydney Tools Fyshwick.

Had what I was looking for, however heavy items are stored in top floor and need a slow hoist to safety get to counter.

The reason of giving 1 star to Sydney tools is for their pathetic and careless customer service I ever had with any store in my life. I purchased the Daytona 3/8 ratchet from Mitchell store couple of weeks ago. While working on the ratchet it got stuck couple of time I thought better to go and return to the store. Mitchell store was far away from my place so I decided to go to Fyshwick store. I went to store and give my ratchet to the counter and told the sales assistant that I am checking if you have any other brand ratchet so I can exchange he told me ok and when I came back other sales assistant told me to wait for him. I waited their almost 1 hour and no one came to me to ask what’s going. They told me to go upstairs and check if that guy is over there. When I came back and told them he is not there they told me he already left for home 4:30. Then 5:20 some ask me finally what you want?..!! and they told me that they can replace my ratchet but you purchased from Mitchell store It gonna take some time . I told them I can wait. I waited almost 2 weeks and got no feedback from any one. Then I decided to call them and after explaining so many time they told me that your ratchet is here come and collect it. I took the ratchet and when try to use it. I found that they gave me the same ratchet with new tag on it.This ratchet is a same problem. I don’t know my review gonna make a difference or not but I work in big company with many mechanics. I will share my experience with everyone.

I recently purchased a scaffold on pre-order, and was subsequently notified when it had arrived at the store. I arranged a pick-up day, as I live 350 km/4hr drive away and Fyshwick is my closest store. I arrived to pick up the scaffold, and was a little concerned when single bits and pieces were brought our my trailer. After some time and a bit of a conference among several staff, I was told 'there is good news and bad news'. The bad news is that they didn't have all the bits of my order, the good news is that I could drive to their Mitchell store to get the rest of the scaffold. I said I was told by Rocky that the scaffold kit would be all together and ready to load. I was then told that my order had 'disappeared', presumably sold to someone else, with the standard 'sorry about that' apology. I drove to the Mitchell store, and after explaining the situation finally spoke to the staff member who had received the call from Fyshwick, and the missing scaffold pieces were duly brought out. After spending close to an hour at Fyshwick then another hour driving to Mitchell, repacking the trailer and tying down all the pieces and then faced with a 4 hr journey home, I was not in a good mood. Lousy customer service from Fyshwick and my first and last time buying anything from there.

I purchased a Gensafe" generator from Sydney tools Fyshwick ACT in March 2022. After using it for only 10 to 12 times

Picked up the phone today after dealing with the Tools at Total Tools and struck Jay on the phone. Pleasant, Helpful and informative… even prepared to give a little off the price for a multiple purchase. Highly recommend as he went above and beyond the order takers down the road who had zero product knowledge or interest to assist a customer.
