Stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful heritage, iconic building for the Liv Golf event.Classy historical designs & decor. The rooms have modern furnishings with historical touches.Restaurant, bar & bottle shop conveniently located within the hotel, with parking, laundry facilities & room service conveniently available for in-house guests. The food & cocktails were nice & the hotel is located opposite the pier in quiet location. It’s noteworthy that we couldn't crack the any room windows open for fresh air & some rooms are only accessible by stairs, no lifts. Can’t wait to return & stay here again.

Largs Bay Hotel - A Comfortable Stay with Room for ImprovementDuring my recent visit to Largs Bay, I had the pleasure of staying at the Largs Bay Hotel and occupying one of their 2-room apartments. Overall, my experience was positive, with the apartment providing a nice and tidy accommodation option. However, there were a few areas that could benefit from refurbishment, and the location of the apartment across the road from the main hotel posed some inconvenience.Upon entering the apartment, I was pleased to find a clean and well-maintained space. The rooms were spacious, allowing for comfortable movement and relaxation. The furniture and amenities provided were functional and met my basic needs, ensuring a decent level of comfort during my stay. While the apartment was well-kept, it was evident that certain areas were in need of refurbishment. The decor and furnishings displayed signs of wear and tear, indicating that an update would greatly enhance the overall aesthetic appeal and elevate the guest experience. Investing in modernizing the interiors and improving the quality of fixtures would be a worthwhile endeavor.Another aspect to consider is the apartment's location across the road from the main hotel. While it allowed for a more private and secluded setting, it did require an extra effort to access hotel facilities and services. For guests who value the convenience of being in close proximity to the main hub, this arrangement may pose some inconvenience. However, for those seeking a quieter retreat, the separation could be seen as an advantage.Despite these areas for improvement, the Largs Bay Hotel's staff should be commended for their friendly and attentive service. They were responsive to my needs and provided assistance whenever required. Their warm hospitality contributed positively to my overall experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.Additionally, the hotel's location near the beach and within walking distance of local attractions was a definite highlight. The picturesque coastal surroundings and the nearby amenities added to the charm and convenience of staying at Largs Bay Hotel. In conclusion, the Largs Bay Hotel offers a comfortable stay with its tidy and spacious 2-room apartments. While some areas of the accommodation would benefit from refurbishment, the overall experience was positive. The staff's hospitality, coupled with the hotel's favorable location, contributed to an enjoyable visit. With some updates and attention to detail, the Largs Bay Hotel has the potential to elevate its guest experience and become an even more sought-after destination in the future.

My wife and I attended for dinner tonight and we had a great experience. The service and bar staff were friendly and fast. I had the Scotch fillet which was cooked perfectly. It was a little stringy but that's the meat, not the chef's fault. The pepper sauce is wonderful - deep with a noticeable kick. My wife had a beef schnitzel which was also very nice. Juicy meat and a crisp crumb. Oysters natural were really quite delightful and garlic bread was also very nice. Venue is nicely appointed throughout, and parking is very convenient. Would recommend!

Went here for a mid arvo snack and a drink with friends. Got great seats out on patio front street. Good views to ocean. Glass partitioning keeps the wind off out front, but did get a bit hot with no breeze. Lots of seating. Good menu with wide selection and appropriate priced and delivered quickly. Friendly professional staff. Place has an old world charm and ambience. Lots of beers on tap. Highly recommend.

Good seniors meal deals. Very large serves for the price. Cosy tables with an open fire nearby. Nice place to meet people and have a chat.

Beautiful old hotel very nicely redone. But, we were celebrating a special occasion called and booked in advance a table for 2 in the dining area. When we arrived we were escorted to the front bar. Told the staff we booked for the dining room and they initially were going to leave us in the bar and then said there was space in the dining. The staff said enjoy your night, didn't tell us there's no table service and to order at the bar.I ordered a med well steak with jus for $51!! The steak was 3/4 overcooked and a small undercooked inch or two at the other end of the steak. The salt and pepper squid was chewy. The red wine was so warm we asked for a bucket of ice to get it down to an acceptable room temperature. It looks like it should be a really nice high quality restaurant and the prices indicate that. Unfortunately its an average but grossly overpriced pub meal.

I had a wonderful meal, the beef schnitzel with the mushroom sauce over chips. It was really good. My son had the Blue Swimmer Crab Spaghetti which I'm definitely getting the next time if I ever get a chance to go back. It was a beautiful day so we got to sit outside on the deck and right across from the hotel is the pier.

While cycling to Outer Harbour, we stumbled upon this pub in Largs Bay. The breakfast were delicious and varied, providing ample options to choose from. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It's worth noting that as a pub, the breakfast experience differs from a trendy café. The coffee was decent, and overall, it's a delightful spot to enjoy a satisfying breakfast in a pleasant setting.

I last visited the Largs Pier Hotel 46 years ago. On a quick visit to Adelaide I decided just to pop in and have a beer. The place is fantastic and having some renovation done currently (April 2023). Will certainly pop in for a meal next time and stay a little longer. Great parking also.
